You don't need to cool down before engine shutdown at city driving as the turbo does not reach temps that can cook oil in the turbo's internal oil drillings. High exhaust temps are reached only when an engine is heavily loaded. Cooked oil restricts oil flow within the turbo causing premature failure. Cool down is necessary for some engine applications like generator sets....... This is the reason why car manufacturers have never installed turbo timers on their engines.

BTW sir DD I used unioils euro4 diesel they said this is the cleanest diesel so far... is it true.... thanks.....
