well i can argue that i can bring my own oil on PMS at toyota casa but the recommended API rating on the manual is CF, where the Delo 400 is CI-4+ on this issue of recommended rating they might raise it when claiming engine warranty,,, tiis tiis na lang muna >9k a year naman sa estimate ko maging mileage reading of our innova.
Sana may makagawa dito ng remote bypass kit ng around 3,000 petot lang para swak sa panlasa ng pinoy hehehe...

I just want to share my newly installed LUBERFINER spin on OIL FILTER...

I just installed it on my ISUZU DMAX 4jh1 / 4JJ1-tc engines .. a perfect fit than the VIC 527, VIC 207 filters i normally use before reading this thread..

And it also fits Nissan NAVARA yd25.

    Thanks.

i had them sourced out with my cousin in the states.. they say its an old model (stock) Thats why they got it at a wholesale price.. . i had them brought my sample (VIC 527) back to the states so they could find the nearest match of the filter.. Am expecting around 30 pcs to arrive this week for my isuzu fleet. wholesale they got. I forgot to post the part number tom for verification.

That should be a PH253, Same as the Baldwin B34 or B233 or B163 or Fleetguard LF3400 or LF689.

Looks like you have room for another 2 inches of filter in there from the pics.

Dvldoc, is it safe to say that with my current oil + filter combo ( DELO GOLD 15-40w CH4 + Luberfiner oil filter) I could extend my change oil interval to 10,000 kms ? without sacrificing good engine protection and lubrication? (everyday normal traffic driving)...

Sir, yes its possible to accommodate another 2 to 3 inches longer filter as the engine bay (dmax) for the oil filter has lots of space. Am also sourcing out longer filters out there..

You would be wasting money if your not doing at least 12000klm, That's just a 8000 mile oil change interval, not exactly pushing the limits.

You should look into the LF3487, It's full microglass and would give you a easy 15000klm between oil changes not to mention is 73% efficient at 10 microns. Or you can stick with the Luberfiner and get the PH8A going to a bigger filter extends oil change intervals as well.

CH4 oil is killer oil, we wish we could still find the stuff, I has a ton of ZDDP in it. It was the bench mark when it came out, Oils have gone down hill since then due to emission requirements and low sulfur diesel fuels.

Here is a nice little oil study to show you how well it works. CH4 oil was designed for extended drain intervals as well the later API rated oils for diesel. It's all about the TBN.

They said that they don't have the price for it, most probably no one knows and buys it. hehe

^ Mali ata pagkakaintindi mo? CH-4 is very good oil but CI-4 is great.
