one thing i've noticed though bro is that the countries w/ the lowest numbers of covid19 deaths and infectees have authoritarian gov'ts. aside from having the ability to easily reign in and command their citizens to hunker down, they also have the power to restrict the passage of information. so could it be that data coming from those nations aren't as forthright as the more democratic ones?

and also i've read somewhere that indonesia has now the highest number of plague casualties in the asean region. i just don't know how true though.
Indonesia does have the highest number of deaths and Malaysia has the highest number of cases. Philippines come second on both categories.

meron parin mga ospital kulang sa PPE

i think even the most well stocked hospital will need more

throw away ang mga PPE you need constant supply

There are still 1,441 PUIs awaiting test results...

DOH: Of 19,585 tested for COVID-19, 83% turned out negative | Inquirer News

The Department of Health (DOH) said Sunday that 83 percent of the 19,585 individuals they tested for the novel coronavirus disease have yielded negative results.

Vergeire also said that as of April 5, all laboratories in the Philippines have tested 19,585 individuals for COVID-19.

Vergeire then reiterated that they are aiming to test 10,000 individuals per day by the end of April. But for now, laboratories have the capacity to test 900 to 1,200 individuals per day.

Dapat meron app for contact tracing.

The app will ask permission for your contact list, then let's say one of your friend who's on your contact list has been tested and is verified covid positive, the app will send notification to you, something like:

"one of your friend who's on your contact list has been infected by the virus, if you're living in "city, baranggay" or have been in "movement of the positive covid patiend 15 days before he got tested" pls. get yourself checked".

I didn't include the name of the patient, specific address of where he's living because we have patient privacy law. The movement is important kasi dun mo malalamn kung naka salamuha mo yung patient na nag positive.

Then if you got this notification, automatic priority ka to get tested. Ipapakita mo lang yung notification which can be save on the app and you're automatically a PUI/PUM already na prioty na ma test. Hindi pwede madaya kasi the one who's handling this app can verify it via your mobile number.

The App will be handled by DOH/Goverment.

Some big takeaway from the video - we are better off in terms of supplies than even Japan (Tokyo in particular).

Simple lang yung app. Just need to install it and give it permission to access your contacts and that's all it.

Mas ok din kung kasama access social media friends like facebook para mas malawak coverage.

Wala ng permission to access contacts gayahin nila parang sa Singapore just proximity lang sa individuals. In fact, sabi tutulong daw Singapore sa atin to develop yun app dito.

Once you install the app, your number won't be automatically save in a database or be shared to all the users. The only time that your mobile number will be saved in a database is once one of your friend who's in your contact has been infected and verified covid positive by DOH.

Dapat lahat ng mag positive mandatory to have the app installed on their app, para mabilis contact tracing.

DOH/Government is the one who's handling the database so your mobile number and contacts are still keep in private.

Yung contact tracing natin ngayon mano mano

Again this is just an idea.

Just read how their app works and it relies on bluetooth connectivity.

Actually ok din ito kasi kahit hindi mo kakilala and wala sa contact mo pwede ma notify though my advantage din yung suggestion ko na thru contacts.
