in normal times people die of pneumonia specially the elderly

JUST IN: NTF COVID-19 chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr says there is a "big possibility" the "enhanced community quarantine" of Luzon will be extended 15-20 days after April 12 because it has slowed the spread of the #coronavirus, he said in a DZBB interview. | via *JCGotinga

Today we see a low 76 new positive cases added to the tally.... considering the government has already ramped up testing. Does this mean we have turned a corner?

If this trend is sustained for another 2 weeks, could be a good sign to lift the ECQ. Let us hope and pray that we are seeing the fruits of our sacrifice. A friend tested positive on March 28. A week after, another swab showed negative results. Are we seeing herd immunity taking hold?

i am not sure how to take the statistics, because i have no idea of just how delayed the results are.

    i mean,
the results are released only now. but when were the samples collected?
are this week's numbers, this week's numbers? or are they last week's numbers, released only now?

i wish someone would post comparison numbers, so's we can see "where we are".

if the testing criteria were widened, i wonder what numbers would be generated.

count of test results based from submission date of samples/specimen..
    VS.
count of test results based from release date..
