    product of boredom...homemade PPE out of trash bags. Medyo magastos lang since it uses an additional bag for the sleeves.

    Materials needed:
    2 x trash bags
    2 x rubber bands(optional)

    Equipment needed:
    heat sealer
    scissors

    Estimated cost:
    2 x trash bags = 2 x 4.50 = 9.00
    rubber bands = ???
    Total: 10 pesos

    NOTE: Far from perfect. the sleeves may prove a bit constricting. But hey 10 bucks

    Connecticut DOCTOR is arrested for deliberately coughing on his co-workers and ignoring social distancing while treating patients during coronavirus pandemic
    Dr Cory Edgar, an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at UConn Health, was arrested and charged with breach of peace on Thursday morning
    He allegedly coughed on two co-workers at the health center 'in close proximity'
    Witnesses told police that they believe Dr Edgar 'was purposely disregarding space and safety concerns'
    In the US, there are more than 92,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus and more than 1,300 deaths
    Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?

    A Connecticut physician has been arrested after he allegedly deliberately coughed on his co-workers.

    Dr Cory Edgar, an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at UConn Health, was charged with breach of peace on Thursday morning.

    UConn Health spokeswoman Jennifer Walker told DailyMail.com that witnesses told police Dr Edgar 'intentionally coughed on two other medical employees at the health center in close proximity.'

    Dr Cory Edgar (pictured), an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at UConn Health, was arrested and charged with breach of peace on Thursday morning

    The witnesses added that they believe the doctor 'was purposely disregarding space and safety concerns involving the Coronavirus pandemic.'

    Police arrived on the scene around 10am and issued Dr Edgar his summons.

    It's not immediately clear if the doctor had ever behaved this way in the workplace before or if his actions have been a concern in the past.

    Walker added that Dr Edgar 'has confirmed that he is in excellent health and does not to his knowledge have COVID-19.'

    'UConn Health is aware of the situation. We take all such allegations seriously and the matter is currently under review,' a statement read.

    'We can also state that any UConn Health employee with an indication of illness is asked to stay home, and during this pandemic all employees are screened for symptoms prior to entering the premises.'

    This is not the first time someone has been arrested for similar actions.

    In Connecticut, a man turned to a state trooper and coughed before claiming he had the novel coronavirus, according to the Providence Journal.

    Meanwhile, in New Jersey, a man was charged on Sunday with making a terroristic threat after he intentionally coughed close to a supermarket worker.

    And another New Jersey man was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct by police for trying to cough on them while he was being arrested on a charge of domestic violence, the Hartford Courant reported.

    AN APPEAL TO OUR NATIONAL LEADERS

    BY GEN. ROMEO ACOP

    Today and in the coming days you will be making decisions that have life and death consequences for every Filipino, young and old, rich or poor. As ordinary citizens we have no choice but to depend on you. We are therefore begging you, please do not fail us.

    Nobody forced you to be in that position. You sought it. You have reveled in it. You and your families enjoyed its privileges. Now a crisis has come upon the world, with a potential of becoming perhaps the greatest crisis ever faced by humanity since recorded history. Regardless of whether we think you are the best set of people to lead our country in this time of grave crisis, you are there and we are stuck with you.

    We do not want you to fail. We will do whatever it is in our power to support the government. The frontliners will be at the frontlines. The workers will keep the factories running. The vendors will keep selling the basic necessities. The rest of us will stay at home. Everybody will do their part. But please, lead us. Lead us properly, lead us in the best way possible.

    We implore you to summon all your wisdom, all your courage, all your abilities, all your righteousness, all your humanity in responding to this Covid-19 crisis. We are beseeching you to find the best version of yourself, because anything less will not be enough.

    Those of you who are incurably corrupt will find in this crisis an opportunity to further enrich yourself;

    Those of you who are hopelessly power-hungry will find in this crisis opportunities for self-advancement;

    Those of you who are depravingly selfish and self-centered will put your own self-interests and those of your families above those who are most in need;

    Please, please, do not.

    To those of you who are physically, intellectually, and morally weak, and incapable of giving your best self, we hope you find the courage and patriotism to step aside and let others more capable to do the job.

    To the decent, well-meaning, and honest people in our national leadership, we hope you find the courage to assert yourself, to say “no” when no is the answer required, regardless of the consequences to your positions or political careers.

    If you fail, we will all fail. Not just us, but you too. You and your families. Because this crisis, this disease, does not know class or privilege. It threatens us all.

    We thank you for your service and we are hopeful that you will rise to this greatest challenge.

    Dire warning...

    Public health officials are keeping a wary eye and warning that LA could end up being as hard hit as New York in coming weeks, in part because a planned increase in testing may uncover a dramatic surge in cases.

    Testing in Los Angeles County is expected to increase from 500 per day to 5,000 by the end of the week.

    'I would love to be able to say with all certainty that's where we're not going,' Los Angeles Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said when asked about New York's numbers. 'We would be foolish not to prepare for a similar scenario here in LA County.'

    All of us here in Tsikot are in agreement with this. But those VIPs should stop taking unnecessary tests for the meantime.

    alam ko kasi ganyan sa hiv antibody test na dapat after 6weeks para accurate na result pero sa WHO guidlines eh sobrang conservative dapat 3month para accurate. Kaya madami "worried well" na manyakis dati kaka-antay ng window period.

    eh sa pcr malabo naman mass testing sa presyo na lang unless makaproduce sila 100 pesos each so pag matatanda na talaga pag pcr
