Kung wala naman senior citizen sa inyo shadow at lalo na wala underlying sickness (my mom kasi is very vulnerable due to diabetes and previous history of pneumonia), tama si Uls na solmux or solmux advance would be probably enough for healthy people under 50 to use if ever they develop dry cough. Again kung healthy naman.

Ang hirap talaga kasi maconfine aa hospital. Kaya kami sabi namin sa mga kakilalang doctors eh if ever na hirap na talaga isolation rooms sa hospitals, sa bahay na lang treatment. PT naman kasi misis so may idea on administering meds and protocols in handling diseases. Kawawa yung walang knowledge or maaasahang doctor na kaibigan if ever this boils over. Worst case scenario lang naman.

Its supposed to be an anti-malarial drug. Careful with the side effects though, but I guess when you got COVID or malaria the side effects are the least of your worries.

Yup, plus only when you absolutely need it will the doctors give it to you naman esp if you are healthy.

We bought it as ultimate back-up for rhe senior citizens in the family that unfortunately have undelying sicknesa kasi. Very vulnerable with how this veerus have so far behaved.

Makati is like boracay Walanga matinong hospital. Kailangan pa ng bailout ni pangilinan para buhayin si makati medical center.

Hindi man lang magpatayo ng hospita jan si ayala.

When i had really bad cough a while back, i would put a bit of Vaporub or White flower on hot water, then breathe in the fumes. i would hold my breath for a few seconds before exhaling. i could feel the menthol in my lungs.


i don't think it will kill bacteria/viruses, but it does help with the phlegm.

Nebulizing may also help, but i don't know what you can substitute with the saline solution. Salt+water lang ba?

pero it's pretty much common sense --- RITM has testing backlog in the hundreds so the new cases being reported are from the backlog

those are from previously available test kits

Speaking of cough meds, when my wife had both cough and colds for a week, tuseran forte helped a lot kaso may naiwan na ubo. On the 2nd week she took sinecod forte tablets. 1 tablet every 6 hours for almost a week. No significant improvement. Then I let her try ascof lagundi. 2 capsules every 6 hours. Isang araw lang tanggal ang ubo niya. Hiyang hiyang din siguro when it comes to meds.

I take time to bathe under the sun especially when I do my morning gardening. Vitamin D is abundant in our country. A few minutes exposure will do wonders on our immune system. In fact the corona virus is a “winter” virus kaya kalaban niya ang init ng araw. Pasimtabi na lang sa mga nagpapaputi hehe

sarscov2 attaches to cells in your nose/throat and works its way down into your lungs

your immune system tries to fight it (kaya may fever)

binabalot ng immune system natin ung virus (that's the mucus)

since virus siya hindi bacteria mas konte ang mucus (kaya non-productive / dry cough)

the real damage to the lungs i think is caused by our immune system trying to fight the virus (inflammation)

so theory ko you use mucolytic to break up/loosen the mucus para mailabas

para mabawasan ung damage

the goal is not really to stop the cough

you want to cough out the phlegm nga

pag wala na masyado mucus, titigil ung ubo
