PACC Luna was a sacrificial lamb tied to a trial balloon. Anybody believes he was acting on his own private capacity? He (they) were hoping to snag the VP, but someone else got caught in the loop so they had to cut him off lest they get dragged off too.

A bunch of people milling about, oddly a few scattered men & women wesring skinny jeans, collared shirts and sling bags scattered about the crowd. My early guess is "intelligence". then suddenly uniformed cops in trucks with sticks arrived. The crowd tries to scatter and the guys in sling bags spring into action and grabs people trying to run off.

The aftermath however was that yesterday trucks of relief goods from QC Hall arrive at the area. So is their complaint of no relief goods true or not?

And I've read that QC govt was requesting police go release the people.

It was wrong kung totoo nga na kadamay naguto sa kanila, so dapat hanapin nila kung sino man yun. These people are hungry, wala na makain, kung walang problema pag bigay ng pagkain sa kanila kahit anong sabihin ng kadamay hinde sila susunod.

Based on interviews conducted by Task Force Disiplina led by action officer Rannie Ludovica, of residents who were along North Edsa, it was revealed that they were allegedly informed by an individual purportedly from a TV crew that food packs would be distributed to them this morning and that the DSWD would allegedly be distributing cash.

After reaching the area, the residents discovered that there was no food or cash distribution.

Instead, they were allegedly instigated by yet to be determined personalities to hold a rally and claim that the local government has not distributed any food packs in their area. Upon further questioning however, some residents acknowledged that they did receive food packs.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) restored order and arrested the alleged instigators for violation of rules under the enhanced community quarantine, particularly on holding mass gatherings.

The Mayor however appeals to the leadership of the QCPD to release the detainees in the interim for humanitarian reasons, with a warning that following the President’s directive that using a crisis situation to incite chaos, anarchy, panic, confusion and sedition is punishable by law under the Revised Penal Code and the Bayanihan To Heal As One Act.

The sectors most affected by the enhanced community quarantine are reminded that if they have not yet received their food packs, they may report this to their respective barangays.

at the end of the day nadagdag lang ang UP test kits sa hundreds of thousands of imported test kits that are already in the country

Nasabi ko na before kahit meron 1,000,000 test kits sa bansa, ang bottleneck nasa bilang ng pcr labs

At least ngayon hindi RITM lang

Whichever hospital uses those UP test kits it's no longer such a big deal coz there are many test kits na din from China, SK, Singapore...

Buti sana kung available na ang UP test kits noong 2000 WHO test kits palang meron ang pinas

Pragmatically, i don't see the point in keeping her around. She's not exactly good at her government job, she doesn't really have influence, and she has proven to be a liability to team Duterte more often than not.

Why keep her around? She's obviously not doing her job at OWWA. Kung pagpopost lang pala ng memes/fake news they could easily outsource it to the trolls.


They could fire her and put a CIO in charge. They could buy a lot of PPEs with the money they save.

Pero sabi 3 validation tests simoltensouly mag run yun tests.ng UP kaya mas mabilis result. Unlike daw yun ibang test tapusin muna isa yata then yun next then next to validate lang isang test. Ito sabay na lahat. Yun ang intindi ko

And it's cheap.

As per what I watched on the news and Monseratto quoted news report, these people already received some kind of aids. Its just greed na lang.

Admittedly theres inefficiency in gov’t in giving out aids, and kung peace and order lang di pa magawa. Anarchy yun which would be a bigger problem.

Personally think some personalities are pkaying hero by bailing them out.
