I saw a video clip from a local doctor explaining pfizer/moderna's messenger RNA vs astra/sinovac non replicating. I cannot clearly understand yet he just sites some advantages and disadvantages and overall my impression is that it is upto us to choose which one because no vaccine is superior to the other.

As many as 23 elderly people have died within a short time of receiving their first COVID-19 vaccine in Norway. Besides the 23 deaths, several people have fallen ill due to the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.

Although a direct correlation between the Pfizer jab and these deaths is yet to be established, experts have said that 13 out of 23 people who died showed common side effects of mRNA vaccines such as diarrhea, nausea and fever.

the immune response to the Pfizer vaccine seems to strong for 80+ yr olds... pushed them over the edge

Brazil Scientists See Signs of New Virus Mutations Amid Outbreak

“We suspect it’s more transmissible, based on data we have from the strains in the U.K. and South Africa,” said Felipe Naveca, a researcher at Fiocruz Amazonia that helped sequence the virus’s genome. “But the Manaus variant has many more mutations than the others.”

On Friday, Fiocruz confirmed a case of reinfection by a new strain: A 29-year-old woman who had been diagnosed for the first time in March and received a second coronavirus diagnosis on Dec. 30.

Brazilian scientists have also found strains in Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul. Fernando Spilki, a virology professor who’s been working on an initiative to sequence virus genomes, says there have been “three or four” new variants detected in Brazil. The worry is that different lineages are showing similar mutations -- some of which can lead it to evade antibodies people may already have against another strain.

“It’s like they are all evolving at the same time, and in the same way, even if they are not directly related to each other,” he said. “That can mean we have a high number of cases even in populations that already have immunity.”

“The faster you vaccinate, the less the virus mutates,” said Bergmann Morais Ribeiro, an expert at virus molecular biology who helped sequence the virus’s genome. “You lower the chances of having a virus appear that’s really worrying, that makes the disease more severe.”

Pompeo also revealed that researchers at the Wuhan lab had been studying a bat coronavirus known as RaTG13 since 'at least 2016'.

The RaTG13 strain was identified by the Wuhan lab as its genetically closest sample to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, at 96.2 percent similarity.

The State Department said that the Wuhan lab obtained RaTG13 in a sample from a cave in Yunnan Province in 2013, after several miners there died of SARS-like illness.

Though the Wuhan lab has a published record of conducting 'gain-of-function' research on virus to enhance their lethality or transmissiblility, the State Department says the lab 'has not been transparent or consistent about its record of studying viruses most similar to the COVID-19 virus, including RaTG13.'

Pompeo also asserted that despite ostensibly being a civilian institution, the Wuhan lab has worked on 'secret projects with China's military.'

'The WIV has engaged in classified research, including laboratory animal experiments, on behalf of the Chinese military since at least 2017,' Pompeo said.

He called on Beijing to allow the WHO investigation team free reign to pursue their inquiry, including access to the Wuhan lab.

If required, I would still choose to be vaccinated with Pfizer- US + Germany Pero hindi talaga ko nagpapa vaccine kahit flu lang
