    i don't know. i don't play badminton, kasi.
    Tumpak!

Masks are not worn during playing and there are intervals after games that players do not put on their masks immediately since they are still catching their breath or drinking water.

i haven't played tennis nor basketball ever since the pandemic from china broke. mahirap na.

actually, most tennis courts in my vicinity have been open since about 3-4 months ago and there have been invites to play, but i don't dare risk it. even though tennis clubs have relatively large areas (both indoors and outdoors), the interaction between games are just too dodgy. siyempre hindi maiiwasan ang makipag socialize. madalas pa naman ang kainan sa mga ganyan.

sa basketball naman talagang erase na. even our annual alumni tournament have been indefinitely put on hold. wala ng balita hehe

kaya hanggang takbo na lang at odd hours of the day para wala masyado tao sa kalsada namin. ang pag bike ganun din.

India orders Astrazeneca vaccine from Serum Institute of India

India signs purchase order with Serum for AstraZeneca vaccine - source | Reuters

MUMBAI/BENGALURU (Reuters) - India has signed a purchase order with vaccine producer Serum Institute to procure AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine, a source said on Monday, the first step in one of the world’s largest vaccination programmes against the novel coronavirus.

Local television channel CNBC-TV 18 said the order was for 11 million doses and the government would buy the shots at 200 rupees ($2.72) per dose.

The government has also signed a purchase agreement with Indian firm Bharat Biotech for its COVID-19 vaccine, the news channel reported, citing unnamed sources.

Representatives for Serum, Bharat Biotech and India’s health ministry did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.

India aims to secure 600 million doses for its vaccination drive that aims to inoculate 300 million citizens over the next six to eight months. The programme is expected to begin on Jan. 16.

Serum, the world’s largest producer of vaccines, has stockpiled 50 million doses for immediate distribution.
Serum Institute will prioritze India first of course

we can effect the same, by lowering our masks a bit, highering our face shields a bit, and increasing our social non-distancing habits a bit...

    pag tumaas ang positivity rate

i-sequence dapat ng genome center mga sample to see if b117

actually mas delikado ang brazil/south africa variant (ung may E484K mutation na wala sa UK variant)

that mutation makes the virus escape antibodies in convalescent plasma

so meron possibility it can escape antibodies generated by current vaccines

Pfizer said their vaccine is effective against UK variant but no mention if effective against brazil/south africa variant
