yup, i was there kanina. actually had our car serviced thursday last week pa. just dropped by lang for chit chat.
ok service ng signet. i like it there kasi hindi naman sila mahigpit masyado sa work area nila. you can hang around naman and ask the mechanics questions and watch them as they work on you car. look for ferdie bautista, yung service advisor ko.

Hi Mari, do you have any new pics of your Carens? Maybe you added some accessories such as seatcovers or rain gutters or whatnot?I'm still waiting for my Carens - thankfully, there's good news that came with this long wait and with getting the Carens under the car plan... I just learned from our Purchasing that Kia Main has approved a fleet discount for me and my two other officemates who will get a Carens. :D

Just had my 5k PMS done at Kia (Signet) Mandaluyong. It took them 2-1/2 hours to finish the job including the free body wash. I paid P1,631.84 for the 6 liters oil (P150/li), oil filter (P525), cotton rags and sandpaper P32 plus VAT (P174.84). The labor was free.

I just scanned the Warranty Booklet and noted that Kia requires PMS interval as follows:
For diesel - 5,000 kms.
For gas - 7,500 kms.
Mas matipid pala sa PMS ang gas variant.

OT lang guys. yesterday morning when Im on my way to makati at around 6 am may nakasabay ako isang nissan livina at malamang test vehicle lang yun kasi lahat ng logo and name niya nakacover e. sindyang tinakpan yun mga yun. anyways, its kinda cute but para siyang masyadong maliit. I thinkndi siya tatapat sa carens natin.

Hi guys,
I was just wondering... I think I had asked before if anyone knew of a place locally that sells a cargo liner for the back (a "floormat" for the cargo area with the 3rd row seats down). In the alternative, if this is not available here, what do you guys use to protect the cargo area from getting wet or getting stained (from groceries, etc)?
As for the Livina, I had previously considered waiting for it before deciding on what car to buy. But from the pics that I saw on the Internet, I found it to be too similar to the Innova and the Fuzion (in other words, it looked too much like an AUV for me - no offense to Innova and Fuzion owners, just my own humble opinion). I still ended up opting for the Carens, which felt a lot more like an MPV or SUV in style.

April 2nd, 2008 08:34 PM #1130Wow, how fast time flies... my Carens turned 1 year old today...
19.8k km travelled, 2x PMS.
So far, no rattling, no cracking on the plastics, undercoat still looks good despite frequent contacts with humps...
still drives just like when we got it a year ago...
personally, i'd think thrice, before buying that toyota brand new rack and pinion, to fix my 2003...
