Sana malaman natin kung madami tayong ganito ang napapansin para ma-report natin sa Kia. If you think about it, if 10% off ang speedo and odo, sa 100,000km, sa odometer mo 110,000km na, so lugi ka ng 10,000km sa warranty mo.

Sir you got a point there!!! but pano natin malaman if accurate or not accurate ang speedo and odo natin, dapat may solid proof tayo or solid data before we report it to kia.

sa akin parang normal lang yung odometer niya. my tire size is 205/60 size 16.

I have to agree with those who find an error in their speedometer. I feel as though the speed indicated is higher than my actual speed. Sometimes I even get disoriented when I get up to a certain speed then when I consult my speedometer it states 100 or 120, when it really only feels like 90 or 100. Maybe the speedo is calibrated for size 16 inch rims? Thus, for those with 205/65R15 their speedometers (LX) are off while those EX owners dont have this problem?

Hi guys! I've been a long time lurker in this thread kasi this car is one of my choices, as I am planning to buy in the next two weeks or so. Nagsesearch din ako sa mga ibang forums regarding this car, especially the known issues. The Kia Carens owners from the US and Canada have a problem of "pulling to the right" when they are driving. BLY, like the others, have no problem on this "pulling to the right" issue. although i am aware of that post in that forum. was following it for a while din.

afaik, the odometer seems accurate. i use the kilometer posts along nlex as a basis. mukhang swak naman. it may just be the speedometer...

I suggest you follow up with your dealer the issuance of your plates. I got my plates a DAY AFTER I got my carens. According to my dealer, other dealers apply for the plates of the vehicles they sold on a per batch basis sometimes waiting for two or three weeks at a time , thats why it takes a long time. As a good customer, you deserve better service from your dealer.

Congrats ulit. Kung excited ako mas naging excited din mga kids namin..Siguro gamit nyu yung Carens nung nagpadala kayo sa LBC ano..hehehe..salamat pala..

bait ng ng kia esguerra habang wala pa unit ko pinahiram muna ako ng kia carnival lx. sarap gamitin ng carnival tnx sa gm nila si sir marty. pag nakuha ko na carens eb na tayo.

and d engine oil was kia...whereas nung 1k n 5k pms they used mobil1

Ur always welcome pre, when i had my 5k pms last May, they used castrol diesel oil on my carens, and yep...no car wash either , but the service crew was kind enough to clean my a/c filter kaya nalaman ko na it should be kept clean, and nalaman ko saan sya nakatago , on my 1k pms they used kia diesel oil, dont know why they kept on changing the brand, but hopefully they stick to one, i dont like using to many brands of engine oil on my carens.

OT: musta iloilo, i heard from my barkadas there that tabuc suba jaro was completely submerge with water during the typhoon.
