ipapa-re-align ko na lang muna. since i'm going up north sa amin sa pangasinan, drop na lang muna ako uli kia pampanga. sabi ni jerome, may sister company sila na tire alignment center na may specs na ng carens. hay... gastos uli. hindi na rin kasi covered to warranty.

according to him kasi, dapat every 10,000kms check alignment.

sir if your really like to change the rims of the LX carens i suggest trade in niyo nalang yan sa mga tire shops. you'll have great and good rims to choose from (16"-17" wheels).

or better yet spend the 36k in installing HID sa low beam, fog light and other accessories

Well hanap ka na lang sa labas ng rims from carens mayroon din kasi ibang carens owners na pag bili ay trade in na agad ang rims e. check mo na lang baka makajackpot ka. mahal ang rims niya sa 36 k.

2 days ago yung lamig ng aircon ko biglang nawala.. pero bumabalik din naman ang lamig.. kahapon ganun din... nawawala tapos lalamig uli..
dadalhin ko sya sa casa for sure... ano kaya ang dahilan?

Dinala ko na kanina sa KIA Pasig yung Carens ko.. 2 kami dun, same problem.. pinalitan ng magnetic clutch.. narinig ko sa technician mukhang ito ang "sakit" ng aircon sa Carens... wag naman sana....

Back then when I was "casa hopping" madami na akong nakitang ganiyan na common aircon problem ng Carens. 5 sa Quirino, 1 sa pasig and 2 or 3 sa Congressional. Even saw it sa bulletin board ng Quirino na mukhang topnothcer headache nga nila magnetic clutch. ewan lang kung may TSB na ito.

[SIZE=2]Guys, i notice that when driving the carens in the morning (10am below) and during night w/c the air is a little cooler eh walang turbo lag and ganda ng acceleration...but if you are driving your carens noontime and afternoon kung saan peak ang init eh mahirap mag accelarate and present talaga ang turbo lag???? i have an a/t carens. Has anyone notice this???? [/SIZE]

Siguro nga less yung trabaho ng intercooler kung ganun kaya bawas yung turbo lag. Ewan lang haha.

Haven't noticed this but would observe.

I went to Cauyan, Isabela last Friday morning (past 12 MN) and just got back yesterday night. That 870 kilometers round trip (including some side trips). I really enjoyed driving Karen Pot (my car's name). It took me 9 hrs. to Cauayan and 11 hrs. back to Manila.

Marami lang road repairs and bad roads in NV and Isabela.

Sorry but this time i might stay in Manila for a few hours lang (maybe 4hrs then im off to shanghai na). Anyway, next time na lang, uwi pa naman ako last wk of aug, sa sept baka dadaan ako manila.

Nasira yung powerlock nung passenger side so ayaw nyang bumukas stockup yung lever ng lock. Dinala ko sya sa kia congressional nung thursday it took them 4hrs para lang mabuksan yung pinto, nang nabuksan tinanggal nila electrical socket ng actuator, buong gabi wala naman naging problema.

Friday morning ganon ulit ayaw bumukas ang pinto so balik ulit sa casa ngayon alam na nila gagawin kaya halos 1hr lang nabuksan na nila yung pinto. Binaklas yung sidings, double wall at pinutol na nila yung mechanism na nakakabit sa actuator. Ngayon ang nangyari hindi mo kayang ilock yung pinto so pwede mo syang buksan sa labas at sa loob. Tinanggal nila yung cable na nakakabit sa door handle na nasa labas para hindi na gumana yung door handle sa labas kaya sa loob mo lang sya pwedeng buksan.

Ang nakakaasar walang pyesa na pamalit sa buong locking system baka daw abutin ng 1month. Nakakalungkot lang kasi bago ko binili yung carens tinanong ko pa sa ahente na baka pag may nasira dyan walang available na pyesa at yung nga ang nangyari.

Covered naman sya ng warranty ang nakakatakot dto pano kung after a year yung pinto naman sa likod o yung pinto sa driverside ang mag stockup san ka makakabili nito kasi yung actuator nya naka built in sa locking system ng pinto, kung meron namang pyesa ay siguradong mahal ito kasi pati mga cable kasama.
