January 14th, 2008 07:31 PM #602mqavila, maganda yung almond beige, gusto ko nga ito coz of the beige interiors pero mukhang madali dumumi. yun ngang display sa marikina may mga stains dahil sa dami ng tumitingin. pero its really elegant looking.
re black being accident prone, sa experience ng family namin e red and takaw aksidente. my dad when in the early 80's nabangga ng bus sa rear left passenger door. then 2003, my wife and eldest son binangga while doing a u-turn(case still dragging). Both cars red or shade of red. Kaya di ko ki-nonsider yung volcanic red. Thank Lord, none of them were seriously injured.
About the CVVT being underpowered, siguro dahil A/T mahina talaga sa arangkada. pero sa rekta di na magkalayo yan.
You should really drop by, nakadisplay doon yung mga pinagpipilian mo e.
Look for Tere Sadang, my SA. or Gina the manager.

Update lang sa LX CRDI ko:
I had the 1st 1000 kms check-up/ PMS done at Kia Mandaluyong last Friday.
Spent the following: P900 for 6 liters oil, P525 for the oil filter and P12 for the cotton rags. Add the VAT and the total was P1,609.44. Went there at 130pm and was finished by 345pm.
The SA told me that their labor charge for the next 5T kms is at P1.8k.
My tank is nearing empty (591 kms in tripmeter), will give you update once I had it full tank'ed tomorrow.
BTW- had anyone of you install an aftermarket foglights? Where and how much? Will this invalidate the warranty if done outside of authorized Kia dealers?
TIA!

bogart, parehas tayo pricing except that the SA said to me P1,200 daw labor charge nila when i get to 5000kms. parang iba iba ata pricing ah...
siguro mag inquire din ako sa iba. does anybody else have info sa labor charges ng ibang casa?
not sure pero parang P6k ata yung mga foglights sa casa. i think same lamps pero the switch will be mounted sa left side ng dash area. kung saan may mga bakanteng lagayan ng switch.
i didn't want to risk na ma-void warranty kung nagpakabit ako ng horns sa labas so doon ko na rin pinakabit sa kia manda. they charged me P800, P600 sa labor, P200 sa bracket (which i will replace - medyo pangit kasi madalian lang gawa). tapos sa akin pa mga ibang materials like relay, socket, etc...

Hmmm.... medyo nagka-downer ako just now.... I finally talked with the officers in charge of our Company car plan... and they told me that it will be our purchasing department who will choose where to get the car from.... so my negotiations and talks with Kia Libis and Kia Signet (sorry Aldwin!) were useless! Sayang din kasi both dealers offered pretty good deals... Oh well... I hope that my company can get a really good deal on the Carens... and soon! I'm so excited already!!
