BTW, i installed sub, 10" nga lng pero ok naman...kaya pa daw 12" but i opted 4d 10" inch sub post ko na lng pix...

I just wanted to ask... when the Carens rolls out of the Kia warehouse, hasn't it been rustproofed yet? Why do we need to have it rustproofed again? Also, is this done at the casa or outside? Is this part of warranty? Sorry for the many questions... I want to be prepared once I have mine...

Unfortunately, rustproofing done by the CASA is NOT 100%! Remove your spare tire and you can see that that portion covered by the tire is not rust-proofed; at least thats what I noticed in my 2008 EX. Daya ng Kia 'no!

Well I think all rustproof done by casa are the same. They will only rustproof the things that are visible only. if you remove all the mouldings the spare tires and the liners you can see that they had only rustproofed the area that can easily be seen hidden areas are not rustproofed.

Hi, newbie here..sorry can’t have the time to go back to review other listings here because it is very long and I am only on the first page.I’m interested in acquiring a new car and I am interested in the Kia Carens because many say it is “lady-friendly” and I don’t see a lot of it. Can you please some careens owners here at tsikot give me the following info if it would be possible (thank you for your help). Engine performance and availability of parts. Plus what’s a nice color for a lady? I’m from one the provinces of Luzon up the Northern tip and I have a friend in Manila (who has a contact in one Kia dealer in Metro Manila) who can assist me in purchasing a unit possibly by May or early June. Is it okey to get the unit from Manila or should I get one nearest our place (is there a Kia in La Union, Pangasinan, Vigan?). Manila is far but I would also like to have a manila plate number. Please help. Would appreciate it Thank you.

*mqavila - I just rustproof it myself. We have our own tools for rustproofing and painting. But I can recommend ziebart for your rustproofing needs. Wala kasing tiwala dad ko magparustproof sa labas e.

Just went to one of the car seat maker earlier and ordered one set of leather seats for my ride. I chose the black one para ndi dumihin. Will post the picture after iinstall sa saturday. 5500 petot ang naging damage. Una asking price niya is 7000 petot and since na madami na akong pinagawa sa kanila na seat cover sabi 5500 na lang.

hi sis.. for a lady i think red will suit u nicely but the availability of the color is u can sa rare,not sure if may parating na red sa padating na shipping ng columbia so i think silver... silver ksi d dumihin low maintenance. sa performance base sa testimonies nla very smooth ang ride ksi hybrid toh makakakuha k ng ride ng isang pasenger car and the seating capacity of a van... tiptronic sya so anytime u want to switch to manual go for the plus minus, hivec(high intelegent vehicle electronic control) nrin sya it can adopt road conditions and 1000driving habits... ang parts d na mhrap makakuha... jst go to your nearest kia dealer meron sila...

Thank god I ran into this forum now. Was going to to go make a downpayment on a Carens Gas EX A/T this morning na. Good thing nakita ko yung concerns on rustproofing, FC and PMS. I'll make sure to bring these issues up with the agent and see what I can still squeeze out her(figuratively)!

Why bother using a Gas variant when you can get the CRDI variant. It is much more fun to drive and you can really feel the power. With regards to the rustproofing issue. Ok naman ang rustproof ng casa e kaya lang in our case kasi. Talagang nirurustproof namin yun mga cars namin e. Wala kasi talaga kaming tiwala sa mga rustproofing ng iba e. If you want higher FC and powerful engine go for the CRDI talaga. Man if you stepped on the pedal talagang ipupush ka to your seat.

Guys tanong ko lang, ilang liters ba talaga ang tank ng crdi ng carens. Kasi the last time na nagpafull tank ako e almost 50 liters ang nailagay kong diesel and ang reading ko sa guage nun time before filling it up is almost 1/4 pa e. Pero nung first time ako nagfull tank e 53 liters lang kinain hmm weird e sagad na yun guage ko nun e at lagi na ilaw ng ilaw ang meter ko.

I would also suggest getting the CRDi for power. Sabi nga ng mga anak ko pag umovertake kami, para daw sinisibat yung car.

Thank you. i wanted white but some said they will be buying white caresn to make it a taxi I dont know if this true but maybe you can confirm this. Red is good also. Anyway, be making up my mind in a matter of days hopefully.

Hmmm as of now wala pa naman akong nakikitang taxi pero may nabalitaan akong ginagawa siyang service sa boracay ng mga hotels duon e.
