Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?

Just bought ZIC A for my next oil change (5,000 OCI muna for the 15,000km service then starting at the 20,000km mark, i'll go FS + Baldwin for a 10,000kms OCI). This is semi-synthetic, 10W-40 and it cost P768 for a 4L bottle and P 218 for a 1L bottle (i needed 5L) from a seller on Sulit.

768 for 4 liters? Mura yan idol. Ano TBN ng Zic A?

Thanks sir, nakita ko sa Ace slighly different viscosity grade. Mag-1 FS 5W-40 and 10W-30 respectively. Ung 5W-40 nasa PHp679.50/Li.

Mga idol, I had to face a dilemma today, nag pa PMS ako sa toyota vios ko w/c uses Delo Gold Ultra...coming from FSyn oil...

Tapos ito na 10k pms, ang quote sakin 6.1k sa FSyn, 5.6k naman sa mineral, ang liit ng diperensya kaya nag pa Fsyng nako...

tanong ko lang kung may masamang epekto ba to sa engine?

Mga sir, how do you check what's the ppm safe for gasoline with cat converters? The sulfated ash or phosphorus? Paturo naman. Sa pagkakabasa ko, it should be <1200pm. But how can you check that sa mga engine oil? Thanks!

face value na accept mo yung nakalgay sa PDS nila if meron or sa mga bottle labeling...
the only way to verify and confirm what is written sir is through Virgin Oil analysis....

kasama yan sir sa oil myth, you can always use mineral then switch to FS, or Coming from FS switching to mineral....
wala epekto yan sir...
*possible problem is pag meh "inherent nang problem" ang engine tapos ginamitan ng FS with low viscosity,, which could trigger some leaks and accumulated engine gunk to move around...*

I think Monark retained a small office behind Calle Industriya (the side road going to the Eastwood back entrance). That moved out as well?

Phosphorus yung dapat below 1200ppm sir. Nasa PDS minsan yang data, minsan wala din. Serhc ka sa net at baka meron, if wala check mo sa B.I.T.O.G nga kung may virgin oil analysis niyan, if wala, stick ka sa gas engine if ayaw mo mag-take ng chance.

last time tumawag ako yun address nila eh... parang 1.3k ata singil nila... hindi pa yun elemental analysis... basic testing

Delo Gold Ultra 15w40= 1100ppm
Delo 400 15w40= 1500ppm (hindi puwede)
mobil delvac mx 15w40 = afaik <1200ppm din. So puwede sa gas engines din.
Mobil delvac 1 5w40 = 1090ppm (fully synthetic, puwede din sa gas engine.)
