Just use any ci-4/sL rated oil. 15w40 or 10w40 hiyang sa toyota engine.

Gulat talaga ako kasi labnaw na nun at old engine pa.

got a reply from HI-TECH LUBRICANTS LTD. (Pakistan)..

ZIC A+ is fully synthetic engine oil which is produced by API Base oil classification group III and ZIC XQ is from group VI (PAO).

In short, yung XQ ang totoong FS, semi-syn lang A+ kasi base III oil pa din eh. Only Group IV and PAO are considered true synthetics. Kita din naman nga sa presyo. hehe

    In general pwede API SN.

kung ano nakasulat sa owner's manual, yun ang minimum na pwede gamitin. so if API SL ang nakasulat, you can use SL, SM, SN.. but not SJ or older. basta Fully Synthetic, pwede up to 10,000 km yan.

This is for a 99 Civic VTi M/T with 48K kms actual mileage:

    2010 - Honda 10W-30 mineral (w/ VIC filter)
    2011 - Honda 10W-30 mineral (w/ blue Honda filter)
    2012 - Delo Gold (yellow cap) w/ B1402
    2013 - Mobil Delvac MX w/ B1402

Just wondering if its advisable to continue w/ Delvac MX which is API SL or better to switch to ZIC A API SN ?

Filter will be B1402 or B1431. Mileage per year is about 4K + kms only. coding car.

Yung 2003 lancer mo sigurado ako SJ or SL rated.

Pasok sa requirement nang sasakyan mo for sure as mentioned here.

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
