can you more specific as what is the real problem of your aircon? It's either compressor or evaporator only as this is the major components of our aircon? also is your compressor DENSO?? Thanks for clarification...

sorry for the late reply -- it's the condensor assembly itself. and yes, its DENSO. any feedback?

I also has DENSO compressor and never had a problem with engine or anything else on my ride....

good day to all Innova owners! would like to ask lang if anyone had any problems with their aircon. we bought ours - innova J 2.5 M/T- at Toyota Quezon Avenue last January 2006 and [SIZE=3]last week the aircon suddenly died! [/SIZE]
We were told that they need to replace the whole aircon assembly! And it will take 45 days for the parts to arrive. Can you imagine almost 2 months without aircon in the middle of summer? grrrr.

Now, I may not know all the intricacies of a car but I don't think we should have this problem in a 1-yr old supposedly brand new car, di ba? We were never in an accident that could be an acceptable explanation. The whole car doesn't even have a dent or bump! Anyone have the same experience?

--DENSO yun airconditioner mo right? coz yan ang nakalagay sa Innova J ko... pambihira naman 45days for parts to arrive? WTF?!? I assume that the airconditioning unit is still under warranty right? Still, no one should be subjected to such hassle... Pambihira naman yan!!!

sorry, sorry our compressor pala is SANDEN. its the condenser that got damaged.

My latest fuel consumption is 11 km/l from a Innova J vvt-i. Mixed city and hi-way. Mostly city pero hindi gaanong trapik.

Medjo majal kasi sa Toyota eh.. saka kun saang Toyota branch nag oofer ng pinka murang body paint... Sa Comonwelt kc P3500 per panel plus additional P2000 pag may yupi..... i get 10.5km/l if do 1 mla-tanay-mla trip and the rest rush hour manila traffic. okay na rin, i used to just get 4.2-4.5 km/l sa escape

ok na din yan sir yong sa akin from the driver i got city driving is 11.4km/l yan yong stop ang go sa m manila traffic (heavy/moderate) pero sa highway up to 20++km/l but this figure i hve to confirm myself pag uwi ko sana ganito na nga para naman mga d4d engine owners ndi kinakawawa...dami kasi nag post d4d engines... sucks,no way,nightmares,a mistakes,etc...

Next to impossible, lalo na't yung iba engine ang naging problema pero alang napala sa Toyota. Tindi naman nila, hindi na sila nahiya sa customer.

Venue is tentatively set at Macapagal Area. Pls confirm if you'll be able to attend and what date/time you prefer. Majority wins of course. sa 19 mar ang dating ko sa pinas, yong set up body kits lang muna saka na yong sa mags and tires want to confirm yon fc nya kung ganon nga. gastos ko sa synthetic oil + oil filter P4088, like what momon10 says less vibe and engine noise...sulit talaga + yong confident mo sa sasakyan less worry ika nga.

[SIZE=4]engine ang naging problema. grabe! now I'm more worried. baka kung anong part na ang sumunod na masira! last November, pinapalitan namin yung stereo coz the cd player does not work anymore (within the first three months, pumapalya na talaga but we still waited until it stopped bago pinapalitan). now its the aircon. what's next? the steering wheel? the gear shift? and get this ha, we called up Sanden and we found out may stock sila dito sa pinas! it shouldn't even take 2 days for that darn part to get to Toyota North EDSA! **^%$#**!!!! I've been reading this thread for several weeks but it's only today that I decided to join.

I just got my Innova J M/T last January from Toyota Alabang. I just had my 1KPM last week. So far so good, FC is 7.3Km/L. I hope this improves to something like 12 Km/L on combined city and highway driving.

When ba talaga yun EB? Sana maka-join ako.

Pre, Cristobal St. formerly Constancia yun, malapit kami sa Laong Laan, bale intersection yon. One street before kung alam mo Vicente G. Cruz yung may Partas Bus Station sa laong-laan. Kung Maceda naman, mga 6 to 7 blocks, landmark mo railroad tracks, 3 streets after kung galing ka ng quezon city. Sige dito ka magpractice maganda mga billiard tables, autoball.
