    stock tire : 205x65R15
    new tire : 225x55R17

your new tire is larger (in circumference by 99.9mm) 4.9% thus you cover roughly 5% more distance per tire rotation. You mileage should improve by around 4.9% also (theoretically) under same driving conditions. Also, when your speedometer reads 100 kph, you are actually travelling 104.9kph.
I recompute the difference. Bro, you are right it's 4.9% higher in diameter. So, larshell is supposed to save 4.9% of the distance travelled (theoretically).

In my personal opinion, this is not the case. The tire diameter has something to do with the design to maximize the overall performance of the car. Therefore, it's not advisable to alter the diameter. Well, I am not a Mechanical Engineer to say I am right. But, there is an engineering formula (maxima and minima) that there is always a maximum and minimum consideration as far as design criteria is concerned. For this reason, at what extent can we increase the tire diameter taking into consideration that no other parts will be affected. The answer is very clear, many articles are opposing the idea.
    Good day tsikoters...

    WBR,
yes medyo malakas when applying the brakes, better pa road test mo agad and have it checked, baka TYTA might say wear and tear and not covered by warranty,
That 's their favorite slogan, rotor disc needs to be imported pa from Thailand, take note...

BTW yung auto spare parts friend ko said TOYOTA had the worst after sales service and warranty...

Yung tyta revo may factory defect din, most revo owners would agree that noisy yung mga belts nya under the hood di ba?? Thats a factory defect admitted by service advisor nila but they can't do anything daw....factory defect.....wala man lang recall to address the problem mabuti pa ang HONDA..

Here's what i got on my 1st fulltank wd my new Rims and tires its 7.774km per 1lt of diesel on my MID 7.1 almost the same.Siguro dahil bumagal ang ikot ng tires ko mas mababa din ang mileage ko.
This is my formula: 366trip A reading / 47.08 lt of diesel
90% city driving parang wala naman nagbago on my consumption.

To all diesel Innova owners, Do you warm up your engine every 1st start of the day especially in the morning.

Just wana share this, i got my warning light on for fuel i still made it home from araneta center to Valenzuela no trafic jam coz its 12am.

Not anymore, after start engine, start aircon, off we go....

If my memory serves me right, you still have 9 liters of fuel when fuel indicator lights up...so can still travel arounf 50-80km depending on consumption...

    WBR,
Im used to my old habit have to warmup the engine about 2min. then we go.
So no need to warmup the engine?

Thought that 55lts. tank capacity reserve is only about 5.5lts. only

The warmup is while you are slowly driving your car from your garage maybe for 2 min as you mentioned, just maintain low rpm of up to 1500rpm will be suffice..

The 9 li remaining in the tank was the computation i got upon refueling my ride immediately after the fuel indicator lights up..

    WBR, ;)
