October 20th, 2008 08:00 PM #101Dindy & co.,
mahirap pag mag motorcade kyo lahat baka naman may maaksidente coz wala silang makitang road.
well as for my case, the customer rep called me up the other day as per advice from TMP meron daw pumunta dito sa cebu (Toyota Southeast Asian technical team) this 23rd and AGAIN, they will change my turbo assembly na naman. I already had my turbo assembly change pero ganon pa rin ang result. I just don't have any idea what in the world they are doing. Looks like they're just playing us around.
As what the Toyota Cebu GM told me last week, in my case, daming parts daw papalitan and ngayon naman Turbo assembly nalang daw?? Hmmm....ewan ko talaga sa kanila!

Last week, I saw a white Fortuner plate (ZM*-***) with its rear bumper (exhaust portion) very evidently stained with black carbon. Although at that time, I did not see any excessive black smoke being emitted.
Last March, I saw a brand new (no plate) silver Fortuner emitting black smoke on its way up the flyover along Buendia ave and SLEX.

shame on toyota! good thing i traded my fortuner with a sorento and now we're waiting for our montero sport. NO MORE TOYOTA for our loved ones, start caring and advice people you know.
by the way my fortuner has factory defects, the rear door was repainted.. looks like it experienced a bad crash was repaired and reinstalled on a brand new vehicle hahaha too bad i only noticed it after 3 weeks from purchase, toyota only repainted and i was 101% dissatisfied with the result, traded it with a kia they accepted it for 600k hahaha i lost about 1.1Million. Kia people were laughing at my toyota mishap.
i dont hate toyota, hated myself for buying one. STUPID DECISION, BAD MOVE.
* chilun: asa dapit ka palit bro? sa mandaue?

just reading this thread makes me glad i chose the vvti innova instead of the d4d
, i've lost count on the number of fortuners and innova's spewing out black smoke on our streets.

Gas or Diesel still Innova outbeat other brand of its class, a truly MPV that can seat 9 full adult comfortably with descent legroom and headroom and good aircondition distribution. Good body design and a descent underchassis suspension.
With regards to D4d problems, I'm very sure there would be solution to this in the near future. Denso is a good research company that does all the new technology incorporated in the engine management and exhaust management.
The VVTi version is already proven to be worry free and with this in mind even on LPG it is really outstanding
The 2009 Facelifted Innova would still definitely be selling more than other brand, but I'm waiting for the dual VVTi version.

Anyway, is there a TMCP insider that can break down figures for D4D and VVTi sales. I bet the latter is outselling the former with these continuing complaints. Dapat ma-address na ito sa current facelifted models.

Reading from the Fuzion thread, owners are dissapointed with its 3rd row seats and vintage engine that has bad FC.
I'm trying to observe the street frquently, D4d still has the greater numbered Innova. Pinoys are diesel lovers, evidently even after they knew the D4d woes still they would buyLast edited by Mile2; October 26th, 2008 at 06:32 AM.
