HELP!!! My innova D4D Black smoke- pls Help!!!

yes ganoon din sa akin pagtumatakbo at naka idle mern usok . kelan mo nabili sasakyan mo npasok mo na ba sa toyota yan? Dapat paalam nyo agad sabi ksi nila iilan lang daw kami mern ganoon problema. but it seems marami na lumalabas na ganoon problema . i know 2 guys who had fortuner and the odometer reading has not even reach 1500 kms mern nang black smoke . yung innova ko they have change several parts already so far nasa observation mode pa din ako . they tell us they will be replacing the oxidation catalist with a modified one and reprogram the ecu but up to now wala pa din definite date kelan gagawin and if you call them they will give you a run around then balik again sa square one . hangang sa magsawa ka ka fafallow up

nakakapikon talaga. any way mern mediation this coming week sa dti will keep you all posted

thanks sir for the quick reply, wala pa naman pong black smoke yung ride ko pag nirev ng naka idle and on 2k rpm while cruising, medyo paranoid lang ako kakatingin sa rear view to see kung may black smoke, white smoke pa lang ang naexperience ko after washing, which i think is normal(pressure washer kasi gamit ko), yung pajero ko din kasi ganun, pero after ilang kms nawawala na, this week pa lang ako paservice sa toyota bicutan where i got my unit for 1k kms, nakakapikon nga yan sir, kaya nga tayo bumili ng brand new para less hassle and worries, ako nga yung spoiler lang na 1 month na hindi pa napipinturahan napipikon na

Have you guys tried XXX or Imbestigador? Frankly, I'm the one getting impatient waiting for the results here.

Believe me, media power is the key to your problems. The guy who started the crusade against isuzu trooper's defective engines got more than a full refund (+ compensation i think). All he did was use the power of mass media.

I'm sure all of you would opt for a full refund if you can (only an idiot wouldn't). So please, help yourselves. Don't let a company continue to rape you in the a$$ just because you're Filipinos and they think you're worthless pieces of $hit who would accept any trash they'll give.

its d4d.

the blacksmoke and chocking might be different or it might be even related. but both of these are the common problems of d4d engine. not everyone will experience these, but there are a handful of owners that are complaining about their unit.

i believe there is a thread regarding the chocking problem of d4d here in tsikot.

kwento lang po!!! 1k pms na ako bukas' innova j d4d ride ko so far wala pa naman probs!!! pero may nag overtake sa akin na black nissan navarra, red plate pa yun, ang lakas ng usok niya, at blue na hilux pero pagbuga ng usok sandali lang, pag overtake niya lang sa akin dun lang umusok...'''

^Black smoke, as a result of immediate quick acceleration is quite acceptable or normal. It is when black smoke comes out at all times (whether it be during idle, cruising or accelerating, etc) that it becomes a concern.
