The usual LTO, 3M tint, matting, seat cover. I even got a muffler tip. Around July, cash discount was at 40K. Then in August, it went up to 50K, then 60K. Now, it's at 70K (should be higher as days progress to the new year). My advice is to haggle for as high a discount as you can get regardless of the supposed current discount.
Subject to approval, they also offer the option to buy the unit at SRP (1.398M) at 0% interest for 18-24 months. No discount though.
*imperialv,
I'm already a member there, but only for a month or so. Also joined the other forumI'm not sure if I can meet the EB requirements of SubySoc though but I'll try!

Thanks for the tip Sir April_Ryan. Was at Subaru last week inquiring about the Forester. Didn't know that the discount now is 70k for the Forester. That sounds like a good deal. Although the new Forester is coming very soon. I don't mind getting the current model . Thanks again.
Di po ako "sir"
In my experience, Subaru Greenhills and Subaru Fort are more generous with discounts. When I tried calling Subaru Alabang maybe 2 weeks ago, they were still quoting 40K discount. Naniniguro kasi ako na highest possible discount na ang binibigay sa akin. Hahaha!
Although to be fair to Subaru Alabang, over the phone lang inquiry ko. Maybe if you go personally, that's when they'll give higher discount.
Maam, may i ask if you ever considered the xv and what made you choose fxs? for me first love ko kasi forester since 07 + discounts are enticing but xv is growing on me + fuel economy. may i ask din what brand of free tint did they give you, just curious kasi if your dealer also offer free huper optik like subaru pampanga? tnx
Huper Optik is very expensive to be given out for free. Php 2x,xxx for the entire car.
I actually wanted the XV more than the Forester (up to now, I think it looks better) I just didn't like the lack of headroom and minimal boot space. I was willing to forgive both - but when I test drove the 2, I liked the ride of the Forester better. I think it's because my current car is a 2003 RAV4 and the Forester sort of felt like a better, quieter version of it
But this is purely subjective and I'm sure a lot of people test drove both and came away feeling like the XV is better too. So my suggestion is, test drive! Of all the dealerships, it's so easy to get a test drive for the Subaru.
The free tint is 3M. Make sure to ask for the higher variants, else they will put the basic entry-level tint.
Fortunately, yes.
With that said, I'm now wondering how much does the headlight assembly of other Subarus cost. Say an XV or an STi perhaps.
Update on the sound system of the 2012 FXS -
FM/AM stations don't sound good, no matter what tweaks you do to bass-treble or other settings.
MP3s played through iPhone sounded better when I tweaked the settings, but still not as good as my set-up in other car (DEH P1Y, DLS seps, Lanzar amp, JL sub) which is maybe entry-level lang for sound set ups.
I like the USB connection to the HU system via the center console, as it also powers up my iPhone. Can't figure out if I can play my playlists though, instead of the tracks alphabetically arranged. Problem is I have a lot podcasts and audiobooks in my iPhone and the HU plays them all instead of just the music tracks.
Haven't tried CDs yet, as I keep forgetting to bring one![]()
