one touch rear seat fold down (was only available on the 2010 FXT)

*cjt23, in addition to JohnM's post, the 2012 has a new instrument cluster. Not sure if the HU already has iPod interface. Funny, coz MI hasn't even updated the Forester section of their website. Prices usually depend on mileage and age. Get an average from the car ads. There's a thread here somewhere listing the To Dos in shopping for a used car. Have fun

850-900k for the 2.0 forester and 950-1.1M for the fxt.

Dude, nakita ko yung spec sheet na binigay ng SA when I bought my FXT last year. I got the 2010 model, kahit na-launch na yung 2011. To help you compare old vs. new, 2.0 vs. 2.5:



AS you can see, konti lang ang pagkakaiba, except for other features already mentioned peviously.

problem lang nakita ko forester sa car exchange sobrang taas na ng mileage 58k na vs dun sa rav4 na 2010 din na 22k mileage na pinagpipilian ko.

The ad from the site-that-must-not-be-named looks clean and is a good buy IF the 10k to 20k mileage he posted was spot on.

And it's better if you deal with the owners directly. Some used car dealers are tricky

Wala nang tweeters and sub sa 2011. Ang sub nasa ilalim ng driver's seat.

Around 8 to 10 brand new units of 2.0 XS at Greenhills right now. This is their best seller. Their bread and butter.

yup forester talaga best seller nila. but their other cars are also selling pretty good, tribeca lang ang di bumebenta ng maayos.

that's normal for a turbo gas engine. fyi the 2.0 forester has about the same fc as the XT, so if you're planning to get the 2.0 instead because of the high fc of the XT think again.

I ended up buying a BR9. Deym!!! The handling is... %#*&*^ wow!!! Not to mention the grin that i can't hide when that bastard-of-a-snail starts spooling, ohhh man!!! And that's on i-mode. S-mode is much better. S#-mode turns that grin into evil delight. I could care less about FC atm, it's out of the equation for now. But to those interested, it's not less than 6kpl, but not more than 7kpl. It seems to be the same for city and highway because of the tendency to drive more briskly (sometimes brusquely) on open roads.

I've done almost a thousand kms in 6 days with 150 liters or so. Planning to do another 600 in the next 3 days and bring her in for the first PMS and officially end the "break-in" period.

congrats! that was actually my 1st choice to when i was replacing my forester but decided to go with the explorer instead.

i'm sure you're having fun with the explorer, albeit at lower g-forces due to its sheer size

was at the NLEX/SCTEX yesterday, and i can just imagine what those cars running at 180kph were thinking each time i take them out so hard... "watdapakwasdat?!" and i'd just be merrily shouting inside my wagon "it's a fookin subie dude, scooby-dooby-dooooo!!!".

i've had it for a week, and i haven't even taken interest on its other accessories... all i wanna do is drive the sonnuvagun!
