kaya bang 1 week waiting time?![]()
How much is the 1st-year insurance cost for the 2.5 XT?
Thanks a lot po....
Hey guys! Im planning to get a second hand forester xt hopefully next yr. Any of you familiar with the recall of 09 foresters with vin# onwards? Found the article in subaruforester.org. Am wondering if the units in the phils are affected
The forester is one of the best i've owned, kaya lang sa sobrang mahal na ng gasolina hindi na pwedeng ipang-araw araw. I'm decided to sell it.
Admitedly, FC is a bitch, but since I live & work in Makati with weekends in the south, I can tolerate fuel prices.
Insurance: P37k++, inclusive of AOG. Non-casa insurance agency, arranged by the office (co. car kasi).
Thanks for the quick response looks2008 & si06, Mataas pa din pala khit 45k lang. Oem of other parts are now available? Baka kasi hindi ko kayanin maintenance if ever makabili akopro pag 12k bka kaya pa, it includes the spark plugs na din no?
Just don't break something from your car, especially exterior stuff. IT COSTS A LOT.
Ah.. You mean pms?
Choose wisely.![]()

Kung PMS ang pinag-uusapan, my sales rep gave me a table that contains the ff. info:
I haven't had my 1st 1600 km check-up so I'll take MI's word for it. Will see if there are surprises pag dating ng actual PMS, probably next month.1st 1600 km or 1 month: P4,424* / P7,574**
10,000 km or 6 mos: P6,343* / P9,493**
20,000 km or 12 mos: P7,093* / P10,243**
30,000 km or 18 mos: P6,343* / P9,493**
40,000 km or 24 mos: P27,306* / 30,456**
... then cycle repeats itself for the next 20,000 kms.

** Motul 300V
To read more about the Forester XT's FC, refer to the thread entitled 'Subaru Fuel Consumption Database.' Different drivers = different styles = a range of readings on FC. The basic reality is this: when buying a turbo-charged car with a relatively large displacement, expect loads of driving fun and a bigger appetite for fuel vs. same-segment SUV's w/ 2.0L, or even 2.4L fuel-injected engines.
+1 example headlight 90k. Don't crack the lens because you can't replace it alone but will have to buy the whole headlight assembly.
parts are cheaper in the US but are USDM. parts sourced from asia will cost the same because they are all MI dealerships
there is a bigger inventory of parts in Hong Kong if shorter down time is your concern.
