Huper Optik is very expensive to be given out for free. Php 2x,xxx for the entire car.

Ask the SA sir about heat rejection. Baka just like Vkool meron siyang low end na around 70% lang kaya mura.

I'm excited to post info on the Forester, especially FC for example and cost of PMS to guide would-be owners. But so far, less than 200 kms pa lang ako ;-)

Still deciding on the color. The top choices right now are: Marine Blue Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, and Obsidian Black Pearl.

Yes Huper has the more affordable line: Klassisch BlacK. Based on what I read its something like Solar Gard or the lower variants of V-Kool.

Huper Optik Cermaic Series is their TOTL.

I vote Marine Blue Pearl (not that my vote counts) hahaha! My second choice, after white, was either of the blues - the light blue or the dark blue. Black is also good, but that was the color of my old car so I went the opposite way this time.

My goal is really to be active in this sub-forum so that those interested in getting a Subaru will be properly apprised before making their choice. I had to take a leap of faith when I got my Subaru because there's really not much information here from current owners. First, because there aren't as many owners (unlike the major Japanese brands and the booming Korean brands). Second, because most are active in the 2 dedicated forums - Subaru Club Philippines and Subaru Society.

Kidding aside, if you're actually not OC on the paint. Silver is the safest.

Yup... that's from a guy who's not OC on the paint (not really not OC, just not into detailing that much...) either but owns a black car. Hahaha!

I have the Ice Silver Metallic XS.

Its not a common color. I see more dark blue on the road. But that does not bother me since the blue (being a dark color) will not age well without much maintenance down the road.

That is one of my concerns with darker colors. It will take more maintenance to keep it's luster. Thanks for your input!

Ok. Laus nga may ari ng Huper Optik so its possible. But swerte kana kng binigay syo yng Huper Optik Ceramic series. Kasi meron din huper optik na Php 5K or what ang halaga para sa buong sasakyan na.

ahh ok, di ko alam na may lower and cheaper model. na pa bilib naman agad ako sa sales talk nung mamention yung huper.hehe might be lower model nga yung free, i heard the SA valuing said free tint at 10K. pero kung maganda pa rin naman TSER at visibility nung huper na yan at 10K nga value, i think worth it pa rin naman.

BTW, matanaong ko na rin po kung may tint mga roof nyo?

And sa usapang color naman, maganda na ba yung blue ng forester ngayon? back in 2008 ata yun, napaka bland kasi ng blue na nakikita ko. back then i also saw a bronze or brown color na nagandahan ako, i wonder kung meron pa kaya nun ngayon.

Had my moonroof tinted by MI pero may extra charge - minimal fee. I chose the darkest shade.

Re colors, I like the light blue and dark blue. There's also black, silver and a different shade of green. I'm not sure if there's dark gray. I think there's a red color also (almost maroon). I also saw a burnt orange Forester but per my agent, it's only for the XT.

Great. When you've determined your FC, you might want to post it in the Sticky thread at the top of this forum, where you can also compare w/ other Forester owners.

When I want to enjoy my fxt, usually when i go to the province, I put an additional 5gal of xcs in the back. hehehe lakas kaya sa gas
