According to the news yesterday. Meron 43 new cases sa Baguio. Karamihan eh galing inuman. Yung inuman daw na isa lang baso na umiikot sa lahat. Kaya canceled muna pag bukas nila sa tourism at aayusin pa ang ibang guideline.

They should stay closed to tourists. They'll never know if may dalang covid ang tourist. Unless they'll be strict in their quarantine for tourists, which will prevent naman any tourists from going.

How can they verify the test results? The other day, there were passengers from India who tested positive when they arrived in HK. Apparently, nagiissue ng fake covid negative test results ang isang doctor sa India. Banned ang flights from India to HK now for 2 weeks.

Also, the covid test will depend on the timing of the test. It is not a guarantee na kapag negative ka sa test e hindi mo dala sa katawan mo ang sarcov2. The only way to be sure is to have all arriving passengers undergo at least 2 weeks strict quarantine. Which will make tourists think twice since ma-extend ng 2 weeks ang tour nila.

The IATA says the earliest for air travel to be back to normal will be 2024. Airlines will bleed until then.
