How can they verify the test results? The other day, there were passengers from India who tested positive when they arrived in HK. Apparently, nagiissue ng fake covid negative test results ang isang doctor sa India. Banned ang flights from India to HK now for 2 weeks.

Also, the covid test will depend on the timing of the test. It is not a guarantee na kapag negative ka sa test e hindi mo dala sa katawan mo ang sarcov2. The only way to be sure is to have all arriving passengers undergo at least 2 weeks strict quarantine. Which will make tourists think twice since ma-extend ng 2 weeks ang tour nila.

Ito lang ang medyo effective talaga unless may test na kaya madetect virus kahit 1 day ka pa lang infected.

Kaso sino namang tourist papayag na ganyan hehehe. Yung talagang gustong-gusto lang at mapera. Hehe. Can't sustain ganyang set-up.

Looks like Avigan might fail... Only works for non-serious/mild cases, and shorten recovery by 3 days, which may not justify it's cost effectiveness..

The Phase 3 clinical study of 156 patients in Japan showed that those treated with Avigan improved after 11.9 days, versus 14.7 days for a placebo group. Results of the study, conducted by subsidiary Fujifilm Toyama Chemical, were statistically significant, the company said in a release.

Avigan acts on the RNA of viruses, inhibiting their ability to replicate. It is the subject of dozens of trials worldwide, but concerns remain over birth defects it caused in animal studies.

According to the news yesterday. Meron 43 new cases sa Baguio. Karamihan eh galing inuman. Yung inuman daw na isa lang baso na umiikot sa lahat. Kaya canceled muna pag bukas nila sa tourism at aayusin pa ang ibang guideline.

Ang pinupuntahan ko yun meron ng QR code kung kailangan talaga pumunta ng mall usually grocery lang naman talaga pinupuntahan ko sa mga malls.

face shields don't protect you, sobra laki ng gaps. and you don't protect others for the same reason

Marami na Mall na QR code na ang entrance so you don't need pen. Most establishment din QR code na. Ang mahirap lang mga basement parking tapos QR code sa entrance. Since basement walang cellphone signal, kaya pen and paper ang bagsak mo. [emoji23]

May mamumura na naman si tanda sa press con. Typical government response will be "mahirap I-compare ang Pinas sa ibang bansa, mas advance sila, iba population nila, 1st world sila." anything to defend themselves. Imbis na umamin at mangako na pag bubutihin ang gagawin eh magagalit pa. "gusto mo Leni sprayan natin ng insecticide ang buong Pilipinas". These are not the type of response I'm expecting from a leader regarding a serious situation.
