    iodine solutions are effective disinfectants.
but one has to pay attention to their concentrations.
there is a concentration for skin wounds, there's a concentration for mouth gargle, then there's for nasal spray, and even one for eye use.
at times, they add other ingredients to make it "more palatable" for the intended organ.
and the water. it should be sterile.
my recommendation is to not practise pharmacy if you are not one, and just buy the type for your intended use. "it's safer."

remember that iodine is the chemical cousin of one of the most irritating elements, chlorine.

who in his right mind would want to smell ozone in useful-enough levels?
ozone is a very powerful oxidizer.
it can make you look and feel real old in a very short time. when inhaled, it destroys lung tissue very swiftly.

the machine is probably a quack.
like my car's "cigarette lighter air purifier".

At least eto yung suggestion ng doctor.
We bought 250ml distilled water, removed 10ml from it then add 10ml betadine and mix.
Hindi na ako nag compute for a 1L bottle para safe, hehehe.

Eto yung suggestion sa amin para just in case we caught the covid virus from hospital, less chance mahawaan family member in addition to isolation upon going home.

This is true on silicon cellphone case, but it has not affected my 30 pesos eye glass face shield and I wonder why some of UV box are made out of plastic? On my count it has been UV'd not less than three times and I don't see any change.

On the room UV sterilizer you are warned not to enter the room after an hour after using it.

Mag testing muna ako, baka masira wallet and bag ng roommate ko, baka ako ipasok sa UV box. [emoji23]

Just imagine what happens to plastics when they are exposed to the sun.

And the UV sterilizer should be a higher concentration of UV.

If nothing happens to your plastics, then maybe your UV light is just an ordinary light just violet in color?

I might be OA with my disinfection, but I draw the line at the UV thing. If any living thing can't be near it while it's doing its job then I dont want it in my home. That's just me, too risky if there is an accident of someone coming in. I'd stick with the old fashion soap&water or alcohol

With due respect, yes plastics will get damage if it is exposed to sun , but not immediately at least months or years, but not in hours.

The one I purchased has a built in timer of 5 mins. and I used to repeat if I feel the need and also using it for sterilizing money bills paid by an Indian renter and you can smell the arid ozone and surely don't want to get in the box to prove something.
