They should stay closed to tourists. They'll never know if may dalang covid ang tourist. Unless they'll be strict in their quarantine for tourists, which will prevent naman any tourists from going.

They have strict guidelines for tourists tho. may accredited travel agency lang sila papayagan magdala ng tourists, with limited number of days in the city. Walang personal cars, etc. Valid test results (within 48 hrs prior arrival) is also a must. 2 din ata ang triage na dadaanan. They're basically making it hard to come in para madiscourage na din mga gustong pumasok.

How can they verify the test results? The other day, there were passengers from India who tested positive when they arrived in HK. Apparently, nagiissue ng fake covid negative test results ang isang doctor sa India. Banned ang flights from India to HK now for 2 weeks.

Also, the covid test will depend on the timing of the test. It is not a guarantee na kapag negative ka sa test e hindi mo dala sa katawan mo ang sarcov2. The only way to be sure is to have all arriving passengers undergo at least 2 weeks strict quarantine. Which will make tourists think twice since ma-extend ng 2 weeks ang tour nila.

The IATA says the earliest for air travel to be back to normal will be 2024. Airlines will bleed until then.

The people i asked who where infected before where recounting na halos walang contact tracing or dun lang nga sa mga kasama sa house lang plus the fact the contact tracers took over a week bago sila ma interview.

now meron na 100+ labs/30K tests per day pero walang kwenta ang contact tracing so what's the use of finding positives if you barely do anything about it
