So the results are in after 3 weeks of rapid testing and at least 2 confirmed covid-19 swab test. We need to do another round of rapid testing again beginning today to quickly isolate those who are found positive.

    ^^

so after nag positive sa swab the lab is obligated to report it to DOH diba?

it will be included in the gov't report of new cases

the gov't will send contact tracers to the residences of those who tested positive diba?

    -

and you also have to trace ung mga nakasalamuha ng 2 nag positive sa swab

i mean ung nakasalamuha sa workplace

Im not sure about the protocol but that is what hr told us rapid test again. The two who tested positive that have direct contact with them should voluntarily isolate themselves in the meantime. This is like a never ending cycle test-negative-repeat, test-positive-isolate-repeat.

Kung paulit ulit rapid testing ng employees, ang bait ng company kung sagot nila lahat. Yung rapid test ko sagot ng company and that was Php 700. For our HMO, hindi nila sagot rapid test but pag positive result ng rapid test and pati PCR, pwede na ireimburse.

Yes that's the more practical way instead of closing down the whole company.

ganyan talaga every week rapid test

coz ung mga nag negative 7 days ago maari infected pero wala pa antibodies

it takes about a week for antibodies to develop

dapat lang naman sagot ng company ung weekly rapid test

it's for the benefit of the owners

the owners interact with staff it's in their best interest to make sure the staff aren't carriers

Traveling back home to PH? Check out the link below:

After almost 5 months in the USA Greg Roasa and I are finally home in Manila🙏🙏🙏
    .
Posting this as detailed as I can hoping this info will help others who are planning to fly back home to Manila.
    ----------
    Airline: Korean Air
    JFK - Incheon
-Easy check-in at JFK as there weren't a lot of people at the airport. Security check did take a while as social distancing was being observed
    -Lounges were CLOSED
-Flight was not full (we were informed only 5% confirmed)
-In-flight meals were served (unlike other airlines where they are suspended)
    -----------
    Airlines: Korean Air
    Incheon - Manila
    -Expect a FULL flight
    -In-flight meals were served
    -----------
    Arrival at NAIA TERMINAL 1
-As soon as you exit the plane and walk the hallway, Phil. Coast Guards (PCG) grouped the passengers to OFWS and Non-OFWs. (Everyone has to line up - whether you're Business or Economy Class)
-All Non-OFWs were brought into a room for briefing.
    .
    BRIEFING & REGISTRATION (45MINS)
-Basically we had to fill up an AFFIDAVIT and register online at the red cross site for the swabbing test. Registering online will give you a QR code which you need to save on your phone. PCG will call you to line up afterwards. Staff will then get your QR code and issue you a barcode with numbers (It is like a reference number to label your swab test)
    .
    TESTING (3-5MINS)
-Once you're given the sticker with a barcode, PCG will lead you to the testing area.
-Testing was quick so turnover is fast
-Swabbing was done in the nose and mouth and is FREE OF CHARGE
-Results will come out in 2-3 days and will be emailed
    .
    IMMIGRATION (5MINS)
-PCG officers will direct you to immigration
    -Queue was short
    .
    BAGGAGE CLAIM (5mins)
-By the time we got here most of the luggage were on the conveyor belt
    .
    EXITING THE AIRPORT (1HR & 4MINS)
-Before we could exit the hotel, PCGs directed us to an area where we could book a hotel and transportation. We were fortunate enough to have pre-booked a hotel and transfer
(Thanks to AAVA IN THE LOOP, we found out that Non-OFWs had to undergo mandatory quarantine in an accredited hotel. We were fortunate that mum Sandy was sent a list by her friend which she forwarded to me. There are 5/4/3 star hotels as well as budget ones. My sister Mika helped me get in touch with them as most took time responding to my email.)
-Many passengers did not know this which is why this part took the longest (plus there were a limited number of staff assisting the passengers.
-It was quite disorganized. Although we had a booking already and queued in the lane for those with PRE-BOOKED HOTELS - We were not allowed to cut the line as the ones before us did not have any booking and had to be assisted. We had to wait our turn
-Priority is only given to senior citizens and diplomats
-When our turn came, we were just asked to show our completed Affidavit as well as our hotel and transfer booking confirmation.
-Officer just signed this and we were escorted by a PCG.
-PCG escorted outside and waited until.our Driver Mang Carlos from Discovery Primes arrived.
-We submitted our Affidavit and bookings to PCG. PCG had to confirm with the driver that he was from an accredited hotel and that we were to be brought straight there.

**Overall the process was smooth and organized. PCGs were courteous and helpful. **Improvements: Hoping that they could hire more staff to assist passengers with their hotel /transfer booking. Or better yet publish a list of accredited hotels and transfers in the NAIA / DFA site
    -----------------
    Accredited Hotel: Discovery Primea
    *Hotel transfer (van): 3,37php
*Cost of Room per night: 5,php-8,php/night
*Inclusive of packed meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
*Luggage and other belongings are sanitized before they're brought up to your room
*Room cleaning for quarantined guests is not allowed

    That’s so ideal.

Generally, a badminton court is a confined space where people “gather”. Worse, no face masks during play when heavy breathing is most likely to happen even to the experienced players. Close proximity is expected since most (if not all) play a doubles game.

Di ba kayang 1hr lang to decontaminate? Won't the virus be killed in a few minutes when sprayed with disinfectants? 20sec lang nga required when washing the hands.

Sa Angeles City naman, yung isang public market was put on lockdown for 3 days starting today. May nag positive daw dun. But why 3 days? And market vendors were allowed to pull out their items, esp perishable goods. So kung may contaminated dun sa mga goods, naiuwi na din nila.

For decontamination activities how can they be so sure if they catch the virus since it is virtually invisible? and I doubt if they can spray or wipe the area completely.

i really don't know pero pag office setting i imagine they'll hire a professional cleaning service na naka-PPE

so that'll take a whole day

i guess it's just something the private sector has to comply with even if we think the cleaners won't get all the virus

that's something we have to put up with in the new normal

Matagal maglinis ng office setting, punas work stations lang yun and vacuum the carpet. It takes them a day or the whole weekend.

So siguro lahatan ang linis niyan.
