we keep hearing about #newnormal
need to wear face mask, distancing, temperature check at every establishment etc
the #newnormal is actually this -- you try to go back to normal then the virus disrupts your normal activity every few weeks
start - stop - start - stop
yan ang new normal
Looks like buffets are now allowed: https://dtiwebfiles.s3-ap-southeast-...620_MC2037.pdf

Cebu City reports 930 new coronavirus cases on first week back on lockdown
Data from the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) showed the following:
Hospitals at full capacity
45% of 60 mechanical ventilators are in use in Cebu City hospitals.
All intensive care unit beds, a total of 27, are in use.
90% of the 399 isolation beds are occupied.
93% of the 133 ward beds in hospitals are being used.
People here are wondering why the Cebu City Health Department is not reporting all the barangay cases in 1 day, why the data is halved:
Maybe to make it look like na maliit lang yung new daily cases? :D
share ko lang I am from cavite. since the gcq parang may direct effect na sa amin. in our company last week 5 na ang positive sa rapid test. 1 was confirmed covid 1 is negative the rest are for pcr testing, all asymptomatic. until a vaccine is delveloped I think wala naman patutunguhan kundi maging endemic maski naka quaratine yun covid positive ilan ang undetected na palakad lakad dyan na walang symptoms. it just buys time na hindi ma overwhelm ang ospital.
kahit pinaka praning na bansa who got their cases down to zero (like South Korea) di nila ma-eliminate ang virus
it just keeps popping up
the virus is very good at hiding
kahit ano gawin mo... quarantine, rapid test, swab test... di mo mahuli lahat
you'd think youv'e beaten it when you see 7 consecutive days with no new cases
then a new cluster appears...
--
PH doesn't need to worry about 2nd wave coz the 1st wave ain't over yet
kaya i always mention hospital/healthcare capacity
coz in my mind di mo talaga ma-eliminate ang virus
gawin mo ayusin mo ung healthcare capacity para kaya saluhin lahat ng kailangan maospital without getting overwhelmed
Araay... at this rate baka 40k cases even before end of the month...

With more than 1100 cases today. I think goverment should be more strict if we remain in GCQ... like limiting restaurants to take away only no dine-in and also salons and barbershop should remain closed. We should be more strict with GCQ our trend is now up and increasingly rapidly.
