I guess I am too paranoid pero I feel unprotected with cloth kasi nababasa

so if you think everyone has covid mas lalo gusto mo naka mask lahat ng tao diba?

you don't want people with virus walking around without mask

kahit ikaw naka N95, pag wala mask mga tao sa paligid, you're not exactly safe

    -

    ngayon gets ko na

ayaw mo mag cloth mask PARA SAYO

kung karamihan di naka mask, those few people wearing mask (even high quality mask) aren't exactly protected

you need everyone wearing mask to reduce laway aerosol droplets significantly

Naku.. Kaya I always prepare before going out. 8 hours sleep at 1L or more muna ininom ko.. 3 hours preparation kasi iihi muna ako before going out para well hydrated muna ako..

anyway... yun nga sinasabi ko it's too much to expect everyone to be using high quality mask when you can't even make people wear mask properly

AND not take off their mask while in public

Yes gusto ko talaga lahat may mask

IDEALLY those that can afford to buy N95 or Surgical, then yun ang suotin. I do understand na it takes the cooperation of everyone for this to work and not everyone can afford to buy N95 and surgical.

I don't care for brands. My point is if a person could afford it, then go for the safer choice which is surgical or N95

    it was an analogy.
marikina versus ferragamo. ordinary surgical mask versus N95.
ordinary surgical masks are so cheap. before covid, naka-tengga lang yan sa workplace. walang kumukuha.

there is a difference between surgical mask and N95.

Hindi po dami.. Color lang nung ihi.. Kapag dark feeling ko dehydrated na.. Tinatarget ko po kasi 2-3L a day naiinom ko na tubig..

Yup, washable PPE.. Imagine that, ang risky ng lugar na yun.. meron nga. it offers better control on how you want your mask tightened and positioned.
and if by now, you notice that your ears itch because of the garters of them masks, you will want to have an alternative. lozada offers such accessories. i am surprised how my workplace colleagues are able to dig up these gadgets...

why is the tie model not popular?
my guess is... more folks prefer the garter-over-ear version. it's really easier to put on.

How Exactly Do You Catch Covid-19? There Is a Growing Consensus - WSJ

One important factor in transmission is that seemingly benign activities like speaking and breathing produce respiratory bits of varying sizes that can disperse along air currents and potentially infect people nearby.

Health agencies have so far identified respiratory-droplet contact as the major mode of Covid-19 transmission. These large fluid droplets can transfer virus from one person to another if they land on the eyes, nose or mouth. But they tend to fall to the ground or on other surfaces pretty quickly.

Some researchers say the new coronavirus can also be transmitted through aerosols, or minuscule droplets that float in the air longer than large droplets. These aerosols can be directly inhaled.

Similar transmission dynamics could be at play in other settings where heavy breathing and loud talking are common over extended periods, like gyms, musical or theater performances, conferences, weddings and birthday parties. Of 61 clusters of cases in Japan between Jan. 15 and April 4, many involved heavy breathing in close proximity, such as karaoke parties, cheering at clubs, talking in bars and exercising in gyms, according to a recent study in the journal Emerging Infectious Diseases.
