Confirmed na kapag recently recovered from covid very slim chance talaga mahawa kasi sa US CDC pag within 90 days from testing positive, no need to quarantine. I guess I feel better na magpagupit bukas na home service kami ni Mommy

But what a nightmare to travel now. Paano yung mga hindi vaccinated na may ticket na? Biglaaan announcement ng US na bawal na non vaccinated

Sa ATC, there were so many people in Restos. Many teeners, those who were cooked up for almost 2 years nag revenge malling. But you can see shop owners were happy, maraming sale, music playing & generally an aire of optimism around.

So far I haven't seen the opinions of the pro-economics crowd here in Tsikot about letting kids out.

i'm not a pro-economics person, but i do know the purchasing power (o sige, convincing power!) of kids, to their parents.

    first rule of economics,
bring the potential costumer to within grabbing distance of the product.

I think kids are still not allowed to dine in, where the real danger exist. I saw a lot of kids with their parents though. It’s the teeners that are concerning although restos require a vax certificate for those dining in.

Yup, dapat talaga ingat, I never thought na darating ang point na mas gusto ko sa open space, dati pag mall gusto ko SM kasi fully AC, ayaw ko ng Ayala, puro open.

    i have a question,
which is better, if curbing the spread of covid is the objective,
running the aircon in the mall at full blast,
or running it at just-bearable-heat level?

My take on it, neither if there is no adequate ventilation. An a/c sucks up the air then recirculates it. It is better to have doors open for ventilation.

If possible, lowest temp setting with just normal air flow imho. Kaso most closed AC system sa malls ata eh proportional ang low temp with high air flow rate. Sana pwede na selective control para malamig pero yung circulation hindi sobrang lakas. Not an expert though, let's wait for the master hehe

Hahaha, that's one way of discouraging them to go inside.

    but based on current observation,

months ago i've been saying xmas lang ang pag asa ng businesses (specially malls, restos, amusement parks, travel-related businesses -- airlines, hotels, resorts, etc)

pressure is on the gov't to loosen up in Q4 para makabawi mga business

mabuti nalang nag cooperate ang virus (bumaba ang cases) kaya nag loosen up talaga... so i'm not surprised

let's not give the virus too much credit.
pinag-hirapan rin yan ng mga tao.
i have a picture of my vaxx ID in my cellphone, and i have my sunken nosebridge to show as proof!

Kung pinapayagan na nila minors lumabas payagan na rin nila face to face class, wala na exemptions.

OT, shouldn't it be the higher setting as lower temps mean its colder?

So you think its a good idea to let the kids out, despite the danger of catching the bug.

I just git out of a meeting with some UP students and it seems papayagan na ang face to face classes, albeit only for students and teachers who are fully vaxxed and only for subjects such as laboratory classes where hands-on experience is required.
