Si China, Macao and HK na lang nag hahabol ng Zero COVID policy... I guess ayaw rin aminin na mali yung ginagawa nila. Mauuna pa ata bumukas ang Japan sa foreign tourist kaysa HK...

Maintaining zero-COVID policy is expensive, but abandoning it will lead to more costly consequences-Globaltimes

Yung surges sa PH usually nangyayari if may bagong major variant na dumating. March-May yung Alpha Variant tapos yung August-October yung Delta. Surges last 2 months.

in my sister's hospital, dengue fever cases have now eclipsed the number of admitted patients afflicted w/ the covid19 illness.

if only we had a vax for dengue then iwas dagdag sakit ulo sana ito.

ingat na lang tayo. it's time to check for those probable breeding grounds of mosquitoes in your homes once again.

    .
    there's dengvaxia.
hey! when administered as recommended, it works as advertised!

    curiously,
    after 5 years,
it's the only anti-dengue vaccine yet.

An inlaw came home from Dubai recently. Upon arrival in the mandatory Q of 3 days, was swabbed & turned out positive, along with four others. They were all fully vaxxed & showed no symptoms. May have been airplane acquired. Without the Q, there is no way to know those harboring the virus in the fully vaxxed unless symptoms show.

It will be instresting to watch if the 2-month interval of covi surges will happen.

My optimist guess is that it wont (or at least not as many as before if it will happen) because IMO most of us already as some form of immunity through vaccine and previous infection (known & unknown, symptomatic and asymptomatic). I think there many out there who had the virus but didn;t know it.

Metro Manila council and MMDA yata nag announce not just yorme if you mean yorme is Isko.

Alam naman mag positive pa din mga fully vaccinated, but most will be asymptomatic, or at most, mild symptoms lang.

If everybody would have been vaccinated, then we can totally get rid of these quarantine restrictions and covid tests everywhere.

It has come to the rights of the fully vaxxed vs the rights of those unvaxxed (anti-vaxxers).

The movements of the fully vaxxed are being hindered because we may infect those who are unvaxxed.

Pero dapat hindi na problema yan ng mga payag magpabakuna.
