Indonesia authorises Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 6-11

Indonesia has approved the Sinovac Biotech COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 6-11, its food and drug agency said on Monday, following the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for younger kids.

Until Monday, Indonesia had cleared the Chinese-made Sinovac vaccine only for people aged 12 and above, of which it has the most amount in its arsenal with over 200 million doses.

Bakit hinde? Pasyente naman ang sasagot nun philhealth share at the end of the day kawawa mga tao dahil nagbayad ka na philhealth tapos babayaran mo pa ulit yun share nila then reimbursement na lang pag na hospital ka.

Pero tama yan para magising na mga engot. Yun mga engot na bumoto nitong admin dapat maramdaman nila lahat yan.

Karamihan mga die hard DDS, wala naman mga pera pag nagkasakit puro yabang lang, kaya dapat masubukan nila.

Matagal ko sinasabi ang totoong gauge kung meron talaga pera tao not what they want to show, maganda kotse, bahay, signature lahat ng suot, mahal na relo but rather kung meron magkasakit ng malubha sa pamilya, doon mo makikita kung meron talaga pera o puro yabang lang. Kadalasan lahat ng pagaari ibenta dahil walang pa bayad ng hospital.

and the health provider is claiming philhealth isn't paying them early enough, if ever, for services rendered.

clearly, one side does not trust the other.

Admittedly marami dati mga up casing saka ghost procedures. Like yun dialysis then yun cataract opereitons but those are fly by nights centers.

Sa mga major hospitals napakabilis naman i-counter check ng philhealth yun mga claims.

I think bankrupt na talaga philhealth so they are just delaying yun pagbayad ng claims sa totoo hinde na nila kaya bayaran talaga.

Kasi dapat career officers mga nilalagay diyan hinde kung sino lang gusto lang appoint ng presidente pati dapsat GSIS ganun.

Even for those of us who can afford, eye watering ang medical expenses. For every major or dreaded illness, sigurado ako, its going to take a very hefty chunk out of your net worth, lalo na yung mga unexpected na stage II, stage III na yan... uncertain pa ang outcome. (Kung stage IV - just get your affairs in order na).

Limited lang naman ang coverage ng healthcare providers, for most mga 200-500k max lang, and they're surely going to raise premiums pag wala nang Philhealth to shoulder part of the bill.

My neighbor stepped on a discarded BBQ stick once (tumagos sa rubber slipper niya). When he consulted their office clinic GP the following day about it, she gave him a referral slip to the ER of a nearby hospital for a tetanus shot. Total blll? P3,600++

You know how much a dose of tetanus toxoid costs at drugstores that carry them? P400 or less.

The only reason he didn't turn into the Hulk in the ER was because his HMO covered the bill. To this day however, minumura pa rin niya yung hospital na yun, and only goes for consults at their office clinic when other doctors are available.

i agree,
that BBQ incident could have been satisfactorily managed in the outpatient department, for a fraction of the ER bill.
but the OPD is not always open, when we want it, when we need it.

the emergency room is always open, ready to function.
and it costs money to keep that ER open, whether there are costumers or not.

do we have the itemized bill?
