Thanks for your share kanuto! it was a big help indeed.. i have an offer from a friend who works at SFM Batangas. She will send me details and photos. The shop is in Lipa, and one in San Pablo. It's a staggering 12k for a MS but negotiable.pedeng bumaba daw but they said it's worth the price but i don't know.
They just did one for an Outlander at 9k which receives accolade when it was presented on a car show (no infos). But i have to see myself how the stiches were sewn and if and how they can manage to do the 2nd row armrest/cupholder. she said it looked like a natural fit upholstery and not just plain seatcover, creases are not present as well. And i still have to figure out what kind of material they use for this.

Based on those guys, posted here, who had their seatcover done, one by seatmate, seems to be guarantteing a job well done by the looks of it. and at a reasonable price too..

I always bear in mind what sir NTYcE said. We have think of a creativity which will differ one from the others if we have to decide a seatcover change. kaso i don't have any idea of what design is better.. ang ganda kase ng sa SE eh..hehe maybe others who havn't posted yet will post their finished design done on their MS soon
Thanks for remembering of what i said, but i did dig deeper into it, i think if you're getting seatcovers, it is very limited of what you can do with it. I guess if you want to get creative, it would have to mean a complete reupholstering... I already have what i want in mind, but i don't want to reupholster my seats just yet and it is very costly.

As per my last inquiry it will cost around 50k - 60K for a full leather which includes the sidings and they will remove the current seat cover.

Yep, got to seach for a well deserved design before i step into it. salamat sa mga payo. Just like what surfer69 said.. it is really that costly you are right NTYcE. My friend told me about it also, shop in San Pablo Laguna somewhere between 45k-55k.. tsk.. everything is becoming expensive!! nothing is gettin' cheaper.. but suits just right for an extraordinary unit.. malinis pa namang tingnan ang fabric seat at the moment.. alagaan lang ng vacuum.

NTYcE.. how long is "just yet"? hehe. You are a good designer so i suppose we just have to wait to see till you get yours done.

Just watched some video clips from youtube with the Thai Pajero Sport Society.. dami na nilang events ah! ang galing.. sana mabuo na ng tuluyan ang sa Philippines version come what may.. or the strada club suggestion of merging.. mas big mas happy!!

sir, seatmate offers pure leather re-upholstery the last time i was there. it's aroung 45K +/- that includes sidings. personally the synthetic leather will do just fine. for 7.5K per set, i can even change it even every 2 or 3 years with every styles and color combination that could cross my mind

sir navigator2377...i believe you are from the south (calabarzon) right? earlier on, i sent an email asking whoever have tried Sure Seats which their shop is located at Motortown just across the church near Alabang Town Center. You might want to try them and post a pics of the finished work if you happen to avail. when i inquired last sat, they quoted me 55k for the whole package (all leather), 45k for combination leather/ synthetic (sidings and back only).

or better if we could negotiate together...so we get a good leverage to bargain?

Right now, my next project is getting my car lowered. But other than that, i'm done with the montero this year. i've spent way too much money and too much time into it.. Time to give it a rest for the moment.. so until my seat are destroyed or torn, i probably won't get the seat until at earliest mid next year, but most probably longer.

hey guys, quick survey lang.. how many are interested in lowering their monteros? Who are interested or thinking about it? If i can get H&R lowering springs about 2'' drop would there be those interested? Roughly about 20t.

    Let me know.. Thanks!

Sir Navigator try to search Leder Interia and Seat Mate sa internet to get detail. If I got the right info, these two companies are the respectable ones in the industry when it comes to car seat upholstery including Kelseat when they are still around. I asked both of them and hindi nagkakalayo ang presyo.
