Oh my...I'm sorry for what happened to your monty =(...I suggest that you take pictures of the SUV (its much better while it is submerged in the flood), then you give it to citimotors. I know you can claim the vehicle to your comprehensive insurance (hopefully a new one) since it was an Act of God. Good luck & I hope everything will be just fine.

So check nyo maiigi yung insurance policy to be sure.
Pero isa pang binilin niya sakin sigurado bukas lunes puno ang casa ng ganyang cases

    Hi Everybody,

It's a heart-breaking weekend, I was supposed to post today that we will have a scheduled EB on October 10, but due to the typhoon Ondoy, and we have members whose units are submerged as I type this, we will move it to another date. I will keep you guys posted on this. My unit almost became a victim as well of the now waist-deep flood on c5 and tiendesitas area, but I was lucky and I can say Monty did a good job.

For the meantime, please do pray for our MSCP brothers whose families and relatives are affected. Also, let's hope that the insurance companies will act fast and fulfill their end of the deal.

    * Ms. Leah, glad you finally made a decision ma'am
    * Sir Chng, i hope you arrived in the philippines ok and your monty is ok...
    * Our typhoon affected members, we are all praying for your safety

Be sure that Acts of God is explicitly covered by your policy. Even comprehensive insurance may not have this.

    Hi everybody,

I just received a text message that might be helpful for our members affected by the flood. I'm not sure about the validity of these, i just want to help out, so maybe those who are more familiar can confirm or correct what i'll write below.

these are simple steps to follow to put your car back i working condition

    1. don't start the engine. With water having seeped into your engine, starting ti will damage the entire engine

    2. have your vehicle towed to a gas station

    3. flush out all engine oil that has water contamination

    4. put in new engine oil,, run your engine for 30 minutes, and flush out all engine oil again

    5. put new engine oil again

Again, let us pray for everyone affected by this disaster

My friend....just an FYI...if the insurance premiums you paid for have an ACT OF GOD Clause then by all means DEMAND for a new unit (get the ukranian version )

But if your compre insurance did not include Acts of God in your premiums...then sad to say....its all on you from here on end.

Sadly too....anything that you will "feel", issues, noises, etc etc., they will not honor anymore since they will say that it is related to the flooding that occurred hence...techinically your warranty is unexpectedly voided.

I am no expert but owning cars for almost 4 decades now tells me that this is almost sure.

I hope that i am wrong about this....please let me be wrong about this for the sake of our brothers who have paymetns still to make on their monty's but are not able to use them....

Regards again to all our brothers in this forum!!

Sirs, di ba sa Cainta yung depot ng Mitsubishi? Any news kung affected sila sa baha dun? I've been thinking of getting a Montero but I'm worried na baka compromised na ang quality kung binaha nga sila. I'm pretty sure walang aamin na taga-Mitsubishi o taga-casa but any eyewitness accounts from Cainta residents would help a lot. Thanks in advance.

the units in the trucks are very likely reserved for either Union Motors or Diamond Motors... they have their stock areas near the MMPC plant.

The port of entry for CBUs from the ASEAN region is in Batangas. AFAIK, Dealers of all locations are getting their units from that area and brought to their selling area.

i just hope that those pulled out units are untouched by the flood waters.

    HTH.
