    chng238,

Yes this is most helpful! I need to try it out on my spacegear (my monty doesn't have the TPMS) and I've had the same problem for 2 months now.

Hopefully, the process will be the same (though I think it's not the same model I think).

    Thanks again

Two days ago, i discover my car TPMS light up no5, and it alway on.., normally when i start engine, TPMS with light up on wheel by wheel, after Safe wording come up, than TPMS light will go off... but this time no5 keep light on...

I went to Diamond Quezon Ave this morning, but they told me winterpine are the one who handle this TPMS, so i when to Winterpine, since it nearby.

The technician from winterpine told me the signal of TPMS lost, need to re calibrate it...

Below it the procedure how they do it :

you need two guy, one inside the car watching the TPMS, another outside..

    1. First you need to press the button beside the TPMS, turn the key switch to on, you will see the TPMS light blinking on first tyre, release the button, ask the guy outside release the air pressure for first tyre, keep release the pressure till the TPMS have the pee sound, stop the pressure release, that mean the first tyre was calibrated.
    2. TPMS will light up second tyre, release the seond tyre pressure till the TPMS have the pee sound, and proceed to 3, 4 and spare tyre...
    3. Important note, do not press or touch the button beside the TPMS during the release tyre pressure, it will upset the calibration..
    4. After all the tyre been calibrated, the TPMS will go back to normal, it will start again to check all the tyre pressure and tempreture, ( for my car, the tyre presssure after the calibration left 22 PSI) just top up the pressure as you like, then everything was done.

Hope this can help some of our friends settle this problem, don't need drive all the way to again... but i dont know this will void the warranty of TPMS ????
As understand from Diamond Quezon, i the second Montero have this problem....

and is it normal that the reserve tire keeps on increasing its pressure pagbumabyahe? btw im using nitro..
i think shall expect too high accuracy from TPMS, everything come with +/-, like this morning, i discover the front right pressure only 28PSI, and i Winterpine staff to top up to 30psi, i was watching the when they inject the air, it right 30PSI, but when i check the TPMS it become 31.2psi ???

To me TPMS are import for monitoring the air leaking, it really help me, it was happen once when i on North highway, it really ALARM me, i cant imagine what was happen,if i keep travel on high speed with the leaking tyre....

You might want to try them and post a pics of the finished work if you happen to avail. when i inquired last sat, they quoted me 55k for the whole package (all leather), 45k for combination leather/ synthetic (sidings and back only).

or better if we could negotiate together...so we get a good leverage to bargain?

Helo sir j*sto, Yup sa Biņan Laguna. I'll see what i can do.. it is better to always negotiate if more than one customer.. makakadiscuento kahit papano nga naman. mukhang marami pang pwedeng puntahan ang in excess of the 55k for 7.5k ah..budgetwise. hehe. be home on july 17 puntahan natin pag may chance.. and have the chance to meet the rest of the MSclub members hopefully.

Where you from? All the best sa upcoming EB!! makikibalita na lang muna kaming nasa malayo.. God bless and More power!

alabang area...hence motortown ATC is the most convenient shop for me. They said, same procedure that SeatMate told me, we don't need to leave the car in their shop. they can just uninstall passenger, 2nd row and 3rd row seats and the 4 door trims. what will be left is the driver' seat. after 3 days, they can re-intall the re-upholstered seats and sidings. half day waiting for the upholstering and installing back the driver seat. They offered me 55k for the all-leather; 45 for combination leather and synthetic leather (which they put on seat sidings and backing only); all area that should be in contact while sitting shall be leather. they use genuine german leather. same material that i had at kelseat. my only concern is how perfect they can re-upholster since they did so far only 1 ms. but other cars, marami na. when i went there...they are doing bmw sedan - changed the seats with synthetic, door trims and including floor carpet and ceiling.

Guys, for those with 4x2s and want the info display, i just called mitsu and i think they can sell the console of the 4x4. The thing is, will it fit the 4x2, is it as easy as just take off and replace? I really am not sure until someone is willing to actually try it. But the part is available as spare either in the plant or by order in thailand. Lets discuss and compare on sat.
hey guys. i got confirmation from mmpc plant regarding the hood console installed on gls se. here is their reply when i inquired if the hood console for a 2-din hu can be purchased from them:

"Yes sir, its a plastic type only. The Hood Console Meter is our complete description, but, its actually a console type also. In order for you to utilize this part, you still need to purchase the Multi Vision Display, because, the hood console has no cover. The price of the Multi Vision Display is" Php59,311.84."

and when i asked if this can be done at casa, their reply is:

"Yes sir, you can work for conversion with any of our dealers. We have stocks now for the Hood Console Meter. Please coordinate with DMC. Thank you."

the only thing that is not clear is their statement that the plastic hood console can not be used if without the multi info display...ahhh maybe the opening of that hood console has partition which is really designed for the mid and the 0.5 din open console at the bottor (exactly what is on the gls se). with that, then we could just easily do what sir ntyce did to install a 2-din hu.
