Thank you for the warm welcome and response to my query. I have assumed as much that the factory has done its pre delivery break-in on their units before it goes to their distributors. Maybe it gives them some peace of mind knowing their units have already been tested, thus a new owner wanting to test the maximum output of the vehicle will not be disappointed and its engine not breaking up..

The driving of brand new units at 'breakneck speeds' has been in practice as far back as the 80's when Mitsubishi drivers gun it in a 7 to 10 car convoy to deter would be carnappers or 'harang' groups that may intercept them.

I was able to talk with one of them before when we had the delivery of our Gen 1 Pajero before. The order was for them not to stop for anything while maintaining radio contact within the convoy while being on the look out from the back as well as the sides and report if there is anything unusual. Kung may haharang daw, they are instructed to ram through it - better to repair a unit or two rather than lose the whole convoy.

With the new technology engines we have today, it would be very difficult for one to damage a brand new engine because of improper break-in.

Sir mic_21_ph is right. Just drive it as you normally would.

Thanks for the great info sir! Now this makes me feel better... Prior to your explanation, i was thinking that the drivers just drive it fast and care-free because the unit is not theirs

mga boss, just want to ask.. what type of remote ang binigay sa inyu? kasi sa akin yung 4 channel den sabi ng SA ko hindi daw magamit yung dalawang button. GLS SE variant po sa akin.. kanina ko palang nakuha unit ko.. hehehe :D

kinda.. coz a picture cannot be HDR if we will not combine same pictures with different exposures. not photoshop though.. photomatix

i just decided on what paint scheme to implement on my monty :D hehe had to fix my spoiler paint kasi so i decided to have everything that i want done na rin will be bringing my monty to atoy on monday :D ill post pics when its done. hopefully maganda kalabasan :D wish me luck guys!

seriously, walang o.t. here for as long as it's about monty. But please those "enthusiast for acessories" should not make the photo enthusiast an OT.

question, pano matatangal moist sa montero fog lamps? nabaha kasi last ondoy typhoon pinalinis ko na but bumalik. someone told me jas let it be kusa daw tutuyo. is that true??

Kusa siya tutuyo, pero pag umulan, magkakamoisture ulit yan. Check your seals, baka hindi mahigpit. IIRC, you can claim this ata sa warranty since I've read some issues regarding this in the past.

As suggested by our president mic_21_ph, i prefer also to have the photography included inside this present thread. IMHO, we can have a separate thread for photography or other subjects once we have our own website.

yup.. he's right. its easier than CS. way easier. hope i know how to use CS i only use cs if i will put my sig on a pic...hehehe

anyways, just got our plate awhile ago. hope our EB will not be scheduled on a thursday

only plan to upgrade on our monty are muffs, horn and monitors. any suggestions beside the older post

After TS Ondoy devastated Metro Manila, Rizal and Laguna and affected some of our members, Typhoon Pepeng battered Northern Luzon for days. I hope our friends like mikko 828 and ianmitsulancer, who are from that part of the country (mikko is from Baguio), are spared from the calamity.

Sir, I'm pretty sure that there is still water left inside your fogs housing. Remove your HID and if possible, the whole fog assembly. Turn it upside down (hole facing the floor) and let it air dry for a day or two or use hair blower. HTH
