PB, the bulbs inside the instrument panel, if im not mistaken, are called peanut/wedge bulbs. the connector is similar to the pics you posted earlier. however, maraming sizes ng wedge bulbs. sa instrument panel lang natin, there are at least two big ones (same size as park lights/ turn signal lights sa cheek)..... the rest are small sized. Kelan ba uuwi parents mo? I can disassemble my dash over the weekend and count how many are needed.
Pero for dashboard purposes, kelangan natin dito yung "360 degree lighting" model, and not yung unidirectional.... one more thing... mahal din ata at USD8.00 a pop. medyo marami tayo kelangan nito... at least 8 nung small tapos 2 nung large.... actually pati yung compass lights pwede na rin palitan (sumakit ang ulo ko sa dami hehe)
PB, i did a bit of research... our dash lamps are sizes 74 and 158. I assume that 74 is the smaller of the two. If i remember correctly, these are the same size as the Aicon switch lights. hanap ako locally and try to install it in the AC assembly.
the common pajero dash lights are the size 74s indeed.
kaya lang im not sure whether to go with the twist type
or the wedge type
hmmm. come to think of it, pareho lang naman ang socket for the 158 and 74 type bulbs. so going with either shouldnt be an issue.
Sige PB, makikisuyo na lang ako sa inyo ng parents moMore or less i'll be ordering 20 pcs para meron na rin spares. kaya lang esep esep muna tayo which to order.
.... or better still the SMD type LED bulb (similar to the flash on camera phones)....
all of them seem to be of the right size.
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b....20847&next=50
need your advise.......
Can I do a direct replacement of the headlight bulb using a 90/100W or do I need to have those relays added para kontra-sunog daw?
TIA
PK diyan sa superbrightleds ako bumibili, nakabili na ako sa kanila dati, diyan ko din oorderin yung pang instrument lights, ako bahala sa pag papauwi, ikaw sa size kung kasya, what do you think? gusto ko yung smd type, $2.50 each x 8 plus 20 bucks, mga 1,600 pesos. need to know asap kasi november 2 uwi nila, plus 7 days shipping. game ba?
boss melto, yes you need headlight wiring kit,![]()
Boss PB, can i get 14 Pcs of the SMD type? in white siyempre![]()

pero in any case PB GAME NA GAME AKO!!! Go Go Go!!!
PB, looks like extended length talaga yung mga dash LEDs, if we were to do it DIY, ganun din lalabas...

Pero the project looks promising....

Okay PB here we go.
It will be a tight fit but i believe we have an extra 4mm to fit the bulb below.
WLED-x5 / WLED 5-LED Wide Angle LED bulb
We need 4 of these on the instrument panel. Please get me 5pcs in para may spare. color white po (not warm white pare)This is the one which goes for P2.99 each. mas okay ito kesa ibang model coz 220 degrees yung ilaw and very bright.
Aside from this there's also one #74 bulb for illumination, also palitan na natin yung sa Air con switch para pantay... so all in all, we need three #74 bulbs... please get me 4 in white din pareLets go for the kill and get the SMD type para bulag tayo sa liwanag.
I noticed the pajero's instrument lighting is sealed (talagang backlit), unlike honda lighting (sa eg civic for example) na splash lighting... tipong from the sides ng meter lumalabas yung ilaw. I think getting the SMD will pay off.
So in summary 5 na White WLED-5 and 4 74WHP.

copy that PK, congrats super mod kana pala, ginabi kana sa pagbaklas, sana nga umabot, may wildfire pa naman sa california, dun sila based. hindi nagonline cousin ko, but i left her a message of our orders.
nagorder din ako ng leds for the compass.

Another question mga Masters. May dimmer yong instrument lights diba?
and ang hid is just 35 watts lang?..
btw.. my hid is.. 35watts.. na hi-halogen low-hid
tnx po for reading
larshell, I'm using Led sa gen 4, gumagana parin dimmer sa LED,
hehe tagal na akong super mod PB, pero i noticed naging red nga yung handle koThanks so much for accommodating me in the order pare!
OT Pare, may bowling lanes ba sa subic? baka magbakasyon uli ako dun this long weekend.![]()
HI! I'm just new here, yeah, registered a few minutes ago. Anyway, I have the same problem as phildg2000. Only mine is Pajero 2001. And, yeah, Aguila is, indeed, having that problem. Can anyone be of help, please? Been driving around with a shattered glass for almost three weeks now! Will appreciate any info.
Oh, this site is great! Andami kong natutunan.![]()
