    All GEN I's have the same platform. But the crossmembers and engine mounts can be different.

    That is also the case with GEN II's. That's why woodfire had to resort to some creative surgery to stuff the 4m40 into his 4d56-powered GEN II.

    we have a gen II 4d56 pajero, i just had it calibrated last week and i noticed that it still emitts black smoke kapag medyo bitin sa power. Parang biglang buga ng black smoke after a while wala na ulit. Is it normal? pano ito mababawasan? i even tried flusahing the exhaust pipe with water. sinaksak ko hose and filled the exhaust pipe with water.

    had a similar problem before. yung biglang buga siya ng black smoke after mo nirev at neutral or pag nag change ng gear? pa check mo vacuum sensor. kasi yung saken loose lang daw sabi sa casa. hope it works.

    Yup. Stock 99 config.

    Removing the rear seats will take some weight off so meron theoretical increase in fuel economy hehe.

    But the greater benefit would be more rear space and greater reclining freedom with the 2nd row seats.

    tama ginawa mo at inalis mo na yung seats. wala naman silbi yan.kahit may sasakay, magagalit sa iyo dahil ang sikip talaga sobra!!!!!!! now you have more space for your sound set up...

    sensya na sa quality ng pics, i just used a nokia 3650. the smartmedia card on the digicam called it quits. eheheh.

    hmmm. anyone know what the diesel fuel pump looks like and where it's located sa 4m40? how to adjust it to increase/decrease diesel delivery?

    Gas powered Mitsus have an in-tank fuel pump accessed by removing the carpeting of the cargo area (no need to drop tank!). Hindi kaya ganun din sa diesel?

    who is open to a pajero funrun this december? not necessarily na sagada-far (hehehehe). like maybe breakfast sa tagaytay (josephines?). am thinking sunday morning para malamig.
