I just got a SWB Gen1 Pajero and I was already thinking of changing the stock shocks to OMEs but I was told by a friend that just recently the distributor, RATS 4X4, stopped carrying OMEs. Is this true? If so, does anyone here have any info on which shop is now the authorized distributor of OME shocks or where else these are available?

199 Off-road house might still have them.

    PK,
Either sira yung shock or I drove it like I was leading the Dakar Rallye. hehehe.
Agree ako sa KYB secret mo. Mura pero maganda.

Best bang for the buck shocks * Php900 a piece.
    bro pk,
ok yun ah. 900/pc? not bad at all. hindi ba tumigas ang ride with kayaba? where's the best place to buy these? pls pm me the secret kung pwede.

    bro otep,
wasn't really impressed with this switch when i got the unit brandnew. the switch is useful lang for me when dealing with winding roads. nilalagay ko lagi sa H para mas firm and hindi mashado magsway. but most of the time nasa M lang. mashadong umaalon pag nasa soft. lalo na ngayon na sumingaw na lahat. kaya i'm searching for other options.
maraming nagsasabi to get the OldManEmu. But if the kayaba is good enough, dito nako. my mechanic said the idler assembly and all my shocks need to be replaced. mejo kumakain na goma, and hindi ko mapa-align until mapalitan yung shocks and idler.
    thanks for all your tips.

Kaya ako sure 'Teps i went through the process of replacing my rear shocks. Dati kasi pag 'Soft' tapos full tank, nagbo-bottom sa humps Pero nung pinalitan ko oks na. I think i killed the rear shocks when I loaded up some people (3 I think) in the rear benches.

Ano ka ba? Secret natin dati yung Gas-A-Just diba?! hehehe. Tumaas ata demand nung dinivulge natin yung not so secret secret hehehe.

*toadstool, marami sa banawe nung Gas-A-Just. Favorite shops here are Motorix and Mitparts. Sa motorix, may mekaniko so you can have them installed right then and there.

Pa estimate mo na lang how much yung labor. By the way, It's been a couple of years since the P800-900 price, baka nagtaas na rin pero siguro max price niyan nasa P1100 (est).

Hindi naman tumagtag masyado, pero gumanda steering response with the KYBs. Much improved, for example, yung lessening ng nosedive when braking. Of course mas maganda pa rin yung pricier OMEs, but consider that you will have replaced all four shocks for the price of one OME, e di pati wallet natin masaya

My Shocks are due for replacement na rin. I have tried ZEE technology of shocks refilling last June 2005 but it doesnt last long and here now back on boaty ride. I'm targetting OME too but can't afford to buy set of 4. Planning to go for rear muna but thinking it might not be a good idea to replace only a portion as the inbalance might cause accelerated wear.
Toadstool if you happen to replace your shock, please share your feedback.
Nugundam, Why replace only one? Di ba dapat at least a pair?
PK, Thanks to your secret revelation.
OTEP, my switch has no use na rin. Either setting its all the same stiffness.

By the way, The GMB water pump costs me P3k, 1.5K parts and 1.5K labor (including machine shop). Still no problem after running for 3weeks. SMART CHOICE as advise by our fellow tsikoters. Thanks.

FM, okay lang naman magpalit ng Rear Shocks lang, ang hindi advisable yung Left lang or right lang. But front only or Rear only works.
