    Ganda ng tail light assembly a, is it available locally? how much kaya?

    BTW, over the weekend at the car show, I was able to buy a K&N Replacement Filter 38-9027[SIZE=3] [/SIZE]for my 4M40. Installing was easy. After the initial test drive, I have noticed that it produces a slight whistling sound at around 2K to 3K rpm. Would u know what is wrong with it? I did a lot of double check on the installation of the filter and the orientation of the cover.

    WOW WOW WOW, flicker bro gusto ko niyan, how much??? it retails more than 100 bucks sa US, pag 5k price niyan dito pwede na, how much?? post ka naman pics, and may additional questions sana ako, kailangan daw kasi maibalik yung parang fins ng stock air filter para ikabit diyan sa knn, kasya ba siya sa white fins? according to master Pk pag wala daw kasi yun mabubugahan masyado yung isang side lang, ang baka maaga masira yung side na yun. 38-9207 yata yan bro,

    sir dieseldude, good day, I had my pajero serviced at central diesel clinic a few years back and its still doing great, pag may question sa pajero gen 2.5 calibration parati kong suggest to go to your shop, sip sip ba? I was wondering if you could shed some light sa problems ng 4m40 injection pump namin, usually we experience hard starting sa umaga lang then papalya siya, then restart 3 to 4 times uli ganun parin, but pag uminit na wala na kaming problems, no balck smoke, power is still very good and fuel economy is still normal, naglalaro kasi sa mind ng owners bakit calibration agad ang solution despite pag uminit siya ok naman na, can you please help shed some light kung aling parts ang nagcacause ng hardstaring and namamatayan sa umaga? and what can we do to prevent this? or is it just normal wear and tear.

    This is a common problem on 4M40 injection pumps. Failure is in the drive shaft, drive shaft bushings, and oil seal, allowing air to enter the pump when engine is shut down for a few hours. Pump has to be repaired and calibrated, no other way.


    question 2 sir, meron ba kinalaman ang calibration sa shifting ng auto tranny? Yes.

    may isang member (larshell) kasi na may delayed shifting na nangayari after niya pacalibrate. can you confirm this sir? post ko yung reply niyo sir sa gen 2.5 threads, or even better baka pwede niyo dalawin yung thread namin, thank you sir, and more customers to central diesel clinic,

    Mounted on top of the injection pump's control lever is a throttle potentiometer. This is a black 3 wire variable resistor which controls transmission shift point. Electronic adjustment is performed while the injection pump is on the test stand.

    PB, the pictures would have to follow this weekend. I bought it from the booth at 5.7K, though they say is a special offer for the show only. Re the white fins, I don't see any white fins when I took off the stock af. The KNN though is a bit shorter than the stock af in height, but if fits in perfectly to the enclosure. The only set back for now is the whistling sound. Performance wise, improvement will be felt on rpms of 2k and up.

    flicker, yung fins na sinasabi ko yung puting plastic na nakapaikot sa stock air filter natin, help me out naman bro kung kasya yun, or did you notice kung exactly same ang diameter nila ng stock filter, ito nalang hintay ko kung kasya buy narin ako, pag wala kasi yung puti bro, hindi pantay ang pag accumulate ng dirt around the filter. I called up isang dealer ng knn sa US last night, kaso medyo malayo sa area namin, kaya sasadyain pa, medyo hassle, pwede daw makabili for 70bucks kasama tax, kung 5,700 locally pwede narin. bali mark up ng dealer is around 2,200 rin excluding duties and freight. can you pls post contact details saan makakabili, il be in manila in 2 weeks time pa, thanks

    anyone planning to upgrade to the new montero sport? tempting no?

    kala ko coke 1.5liter nilagay mo sa cup holder mo kaya nasira.

    pb, tempting nga bumili ng new montero sport. sure ako yung nakatabi mo na brand new field master magsisisi kung bakit sya bumili ng "AUV" na worth P1.7M. while yung new montero sport special edition is worth P1.6M at yung hindi special edition is worth P1.5M. 4x4 pa ang 2 variants

    Good PM mga gurus!

    Have been a lurker for a long time and reading this thread from start and still searching for some tips.

    I drive a 2001 FM, a few questions:

    AA. Driver seat. I think the contacts for the forward and back lever is loose. Only the up/ down lever is working. Any suggestions on how to clean or access for a contact cleaner spray?

    BB. SRS lamp always on. I had the steering wheel straightened after an alignment job. The machanic pulled the airbag connector and now the SRS lamp is always on. Any suggestions on how to re-set?

    I am very happy with the car, I got it last Dec 2007. So far, I have replaced the tires, alarm, radio and all oils/ fluids for general maintenance. Para feeling bago.

    garci, use the oblong tire as spare nalang, ang alam ko brand new murang tires na AT yung dunlop grandtrek AT2, dati 4,500 siya kung tama alala ko (2004 pa yata yun), gwapo siya pag bago, pero mabilis mapudpud.


    jru120, no problem bro, tipid na yan wala pa 10 pesos ang cost. mapapaisip talaga yung owner ng new pajero sa purchase niya, sana wag parin maphase out yung gen 2.5 pajero, mukhang 2 models ang mawawala sa listahan ng mitsu, motero sport gen 1 and gen 2.5 pajero. sarap parin kasi makita yung car mo binebenta parin as brand new, addict na talaga ako. hehe same nga yung tail lights sa pinakadulong pic, sa japan nga daw meron nito based sa pinagkunan ko ng pic, lalabas sin yan sa ebay hintay hinatay lang tayo,

    jadm72, kailangan mo pa casa yan para mareset airbag, 450 ang charge nila wala pang 10 minutes ok na yan. if under warranty pa yan pwede mo sabihin na bigla nalang umilaw nung nalubak ka, thats what i did dati, some say na pwede daw tanggalin battery and leave it overnight, but di gumana sa new pajero ko, its worth a try though wala naman mawawala eh,
    napaglaruan ko narin yung mechanism ng power seats ko, kung front and back nawala may chance na motor or yung module na. dami ways para maremedyo yan, but kailangan mo muna isolate yung problem, buksan mo yung front cover, makikita mo na yung motor check mo muna kung may supply pag nag switch ka, nagrereverse polarity siya pag paatras. just to eliminate kung saan ang problem, kung walang power I would suggest gawa ka nalang ng bagong relays and switch, sa pagkakaalam ko kasi mahal ang module niyan.

    flicker, YOUR THE MAN!!! love that knn, I'm definitely getting one, bakit ganun yung stock filter mo bro walang fins? makakawawa yung isang side niyan, based sa pics mo may isang part na nangingitim na, while sobrang linis pa ng ibang sides. kung wala ka nung fins i can give you one, natabi ko pa yung old filter ko, parang ganito pics ng fins sa oem filter meron niyan para equal ang distribution ng air.

    additional questions ko kay diesel dude of central diesel clinic. dagdag kaalaman lang about our engine, with regards sa calibration pag palyado sa umaga.

    1, does this mean we can opt not to replace the nozzle tips when this happens? Yes. Morning hard start is most often not related to nozzle wear.

    2, Since the problem is the driveshaft, sorrry sir newbie sa injection pump, what causes driveshaft failure? I consider this as normal wear.
    We do an improvement on this area everytime this pump type comes in for service; and we have been very successful in improving the pump's service life.

    bakit nasisira ang driveshaft? diesel qulaity ba or the way we drive?

    PB, I read this from the Gen 3.5 thread which you wrote,

    Will bring the FM sa casa for the airbag/ SRS light.

    The driver seat forward and back was working before, ididiin lang yung switch OK na, but lately ayaw na. If this is not repairable or expensive, baka pa manual ko na lang are there manual rails available? Or a surplus unit? How much kaya? If I can be pointed to possible suppliers, will appreciate it.

    Interested din ako dun sa KN filter. Maybe after 10K KM, bagong palit (orig sayang) lang eh.

    pb, sana nga hindi pa nila iphase out ang gen 2.5 models. na asked ko dati sa agent ng mitsu kung bakit until now may FM pa at sabi nya sa akin kasi dami pa daw naghahanap at mabenta daw

    matanong ko lang, malakas ba ang vibrations sa loob ng paj nyo? akin kasi pagshift to 3rd gear nagvavibrate sa loob. MT po yung akin.

    ok na ako sa contact details na binigay mo, nagdedecide pa kasi ako kung sa US ko papabili or local nalang, bibili din kasi ako knn for my other pajero, kinakausap ko pa relatives ko dun kung merong pwede maututsan, pag natukso ako il buy it pag luwas ko in 2 weeks time. ayan na pati si jadm72 gusto narin,

    about sa petron diesel booster, in my experience effective talaga siya, kaya may stock ako nito sa house, dunno kung psychological lang ah, but pag biglang birit wala siyang usok compared sa walang additive, im also using shell diesel. makikita mo results ng additive sa 2nd full tank mo,

    kailangan maging mas specific ka anong klaseng vibrations, sa manibela or sa body? baka balance lang ng gulong kung tumtakbo mo nararamdaman.

    jadm72, mas mahirap yata yung gusto mong gawin, papaleather mo pa uli pag surplus. baka masmura pa bili nalang ng new module or switch.
    pag ginagalaw mo yung switch do you hear a tik (relay) sound? kailangan mo talaga bukasan yung front cover to check kung saan ang sira. kung module na yan, gagawa ka nalang ng new switch para maatras abante mo parin. Ill post pics later, di ko na sinara yung cover ko , pwede lagyan ng gamit yung ilalim ng driver seat,
