I would not suggest buying surplus dampers. It may look good externally but internally it may be another story...busted seals, etc.

The OEM dampers are really quite expensive. I use Rancho 9000's on my Gen 1. On the Gen 2 di pa nasisira yung OEM's. But once they do I'll go with aftermarket dampers - Rancho or OME. Yes you won't be able to use the controls but you'll probably end up with a better, firmer ride.

pk: ahhhh. ibang klase pala sa passenger seatbelt mo :D

anyway, mine works pa naman in case kasi when you suddenly pull on it, kakagat kagad. yun lang, halimbawa ginamit and na-unbuckle na, 99% of the time hindi na siya babalik ng kusa unless you pull all the belt out and assist it in going back. oh well. +1 sa mga kelangan mapaayos.

regarding the rancho 9000s, pwede kaya imodify yung OEM shock controls para at least ma-adjust pa rin at the very least, to 3 settings ng 9000s since 9-way naman siya? i know kasi sa may ibaba ata ng 9000 yung adjustment knob, not sure saan yung sa OEM one, so napaisip lang ako maybe it's possible.

Iba yung principle of adjustment ng Rancho sa OEM shock. You cannot use the OEM controls on a Rancho. Mas simple ang adjustment ng Rancho. Very mechanical.

mas masaya nung gabi na jayvee. si phery kasi late nilabas niya yung mga optimus prime cannon.

dami nasindak dun sa cannon when i subconsciously pressed the trigger on the one i got, akala ko wala nang karga. meron pa pala and BOOM! hehehe. buti na lang it was pointed down towards the gravel and not at someone. :lol:

grabe, di ko mabitawan yung alcohol cannon na i got from phery. our neighbors were looking funny at me. :lol:
