flicker, I also have a grounding kit installed,

here are my mountiing points 8 wires
1. and 2. battery to body (near engine fuse box and near stock body ground)
3.connected to #1 (para umabot sa ilalim) to AT tranny (near the AT oil pan sa ilalim ng kotse)
4 and 5..battery to front bumper (direct sa body ground ng busina, foglights, and headlight wiring kits, 2 wires to connected para hanggang sa kabilang headlight and foglights)
6.battery to engine (sa valve cover daan sa ilalim ng intercooler cover)
7.engine to body ( turbo shielding going to body, merong stock grounding point doon pinatong ko lang)
8.alternator to body (alternator bracket to right fender)

If you have a spare gauge 4 wire, it would help to connect directly from altenator positive output (nakabalot ng rubber cover sa likod ng alternator) to positive battery terminal then fused mga 40 amps near the battery for safety.. sa car sudio merong tawag na big 3 upgrade, ito ang most important mounting points, battery to chassis, engine to body and alternator positive to battery positive.

Sir PB, this is one is very informative, i thought grounding kit is for gasoline engine only, what is the difference after you install it to your 4M40? is there a big difference?

sunlife advisor, pag bago bago pa pajero mo, and wala kang gaanong dinagdag na accesories, di mo kailangan nito. ang pinaka evident na sign na kailangan mo ng grounding kit is kung nag didim yung dashlights mo pag nag engage ang compressor ng aircon mo, meron kasi ako amplifiers installed kaya necessity saakin ang grounding kits.habang naluluma kasi stock wires natin lumalaki ang resistance. kaya kailangan palitan or dagdagan. HTH

I cant seem to find where the Valve cover and which part of the alternator bracket to attach the wire.

Kamusta na mga na Pajero FM owners at Masters. Medyo naging busy lately.

PB, Bago sound set up mo? Hindi yata yan yun nakita sa Cardomain.

May problem ako with my Pajero. Yesterday morning when I start the engine it went off after a few seconds tapos tagal na nya mag start. I have it checked today at a suking talyer and they told me that kelangan na daw mag pa calibrate. Hindi naman mausok.
Sabi ko baka heater plug lang kasi kapag mainit na ang engine ok na ulit hindi hard starting. Hindi ko maniwala na kelangan na syan calibrate. Meron na sainyo na encounter problem like this?

This morning hindi sya hard starting. I think hard starting lang sya if not inuse for more than 24hrs.

good day sa inyo mga gurus. nakabili po kasi ako nung march ng 2002 local fieldmaster 4x4 MT sa pinsan ng friend ko. binili ko to dahil 2002 local 4x4 at manual pa. 51,000+ ang mileage. sabi po kasi sa mga nakapost na thread dito hangang 2000 lang daw yung last production ng FM MT 4x4. pero sabi nung pinsan ng friend ko special order daw to at masmahal daw bili nya kay sa original selling price nung year na yun. 2002 din po nakalagay sa CR.

may lumabas ba talaga na 2002 Local Manual Transmissiom 4x4 na Fieldmaster?

wala po talaga lumabas ng 2002 na 4x4. puro 4x2 AT na po pajero nun. special order nga siguro yan sir

larshell, yeah pinalitan ko na, mas maliit na to, yung luma kong setup nasa isang pajero ko na, pang SQ nalang to. about your problem sa umaga, sadly calibration na nga yan, nangyari yan sa pejero ko around 70k kms. sa umaga lang talaga may problem pero pag mainit wala nang problem, same din tayo ng naisip na bakit calibration agad pero pag mainit na normal na lahat. heck i even passed emission testing, kahit kailangan na pacalibrate . sa central diesel clinic 18+k lahat ng cost. orig daw lahat ng parts. pasched ka muna, kasi iiwan mo yan sa kanila ng 3 days.


jru120, possible naman na special order nga, kasi nung na implement yung tax sa 4x4 binebenta pa nila yung old stock na 4x4 at a higher price. para macheck mo kung 2002 model nga yan, im only guessing, meron nang tpms, oem foglights, and yung 2nd row seats updated version. yung upuan naabot mo yung adjustement sa sides, kahit nakasara pintuan. yung mga unang labas kasi gaya saakin, suffer from leather creaking noise dahil kumikiskisnga sa sidings. dapat may gap talaga in between the sidings and seats.

Pajero Experts, I need your help..

tanong lang po, I have a gen2.5 2.8L FM pajero. Inside the hood, meron parang small cylindrical or tube shape na object dun malapit sa battery ng pajero. Specifically located sya sa taas lng ng battery and situated next to it when facing the windshield. Kasi ung sa akin nakatangal na ung parang clip(power source nya? not sure).

What ba purpose ng instrument na to? yung sa akin kc nakatangal na ang isang connection sa wire (yung nakalagay sa top side), parang dinisable na sya..

larshell, it depends sa budget mo, how much your willing to spend sa SQ system, medyo ginastusan ko system ko, mga 30k marami kana pwedeng choices. let me know kung bubuo ka, baka pwede malaman balak mong setup,
got my bfgoodrich tires sa ryco, 5 years ago na yun, di sila nagmamount bibilhin mo sa kanila tires lang talaga, parang office yan. trust me bro, ganda ng tayo ng pajero mo sa tires na to, parang terra crusher na monster truck.

chilled oxygen, di ko maisip which part your refering to, post ka pic para mas maintindihan. baka heater/glowplug relay, parang small balck cup na may mga wires na naka screw sa taas covered by rubber nipples.

tamo po si sir PB ganyan din nangyari sa paj namin, subukan nyo rin po sa zexel service center (diesel kiki) jan sa may edsa paglampas ng munoz if you're going to balintawak. Bosch group na rin yan, saka sa kanila din daw nagpapa calibrate ang mitsubishi, more or less 14K kasama na ung 4 na nozzle tip (php 1575 ea ang price) dala ka na lang fuel filter if gusto mo palitan ,meron sila bosch pero additional cost din sa iyo..pag dinala mo ng umaga ang unit mo sa hapon makukuha mo na, saka i diagnose muna nila ano gagawin, contact mo na lang manager nila si Joseph or si anna eto number and location nila:

just want to ask re the small fan (yung para sa intercooler ba iyon - its the fan below the air cooling fins under the hood scoop).

1> how do you know if it is working properly or not?
2> how to test it?
3> does it have a sensor para doon lng sya gumana?
4> does this fan only operates pag the turbo kicks-in or pag mainit na yung turbo? If yes, how do I check if it is working properly?
5> If the fan is working properly after directly connecting it to a battery, how do i chk if the sensor is working properly?
6> basically how do i know or test if the turbo fan is working properly?

I think you got what I mean.. kc po may mga rubber nipples nga sya.. what ba ang main purpose neto? kc sa akin parang di sya naka-activate (nakatanggal ung parang ground nya). Pero wla naman aq problema overall when I use my car especially when starting. What should I do po?
