Wanted to ask kung ano ang last year model na meron Manual Transmission? All I know is that ang 4x4, 2001 ang last year model. Can anyone help?

i'm no expert but as far as i know, the last of the manual transmission 4x4 fieldmasters came out year 2000, then 2001, the 4x2 AT followed when the tax schene was modified which placed a higher tax on 4x4s and tax preferential treatment on suv with 10 seating capacity. the demise of the 4x4 fieldmaster pajero.

sinubukan ko lang hanggang saan kaya ng pajero natin, 160kmh top speed natin at 4k rpm, matagal bago maabot to. napaabot ko ng 170 kaso pababa yung daan. and pina emission testing ko last week, .47 ang grade ko. lnot bad parin for a 9 yr old diesel.

i would like to ask if mitsubishi phils. release a pajero field master 4x4 manual transmission in the year 2002?

i bought a 2nd hand fieldmaster from a friend last march 2008 and it states in the CR 2002.

he told me that it was a special order and that he paid a much higher amount than that of the field master sold /release that year.

it has no tpms, oem fog lamps, and the 3rd row seats are side by side like the adventure. it looks exactly like the 99 field master but the CR indicates 2002.

Dear Sir,

We will have to check our records to be precise. Offhand, I think we sold our last Pajero 4x4's around December 2000 because as early as October 2000, we were already releasing the 4x2 models. From the moment we started selling the 4x2, we totally stopped selling the 4x4 because of the big price gap between them. It is possible though that the unit was an old dealer stock which your friend was able to buy in 2001 or 2002.

As to the pricing of the vehicle. he probably asked the dealer to install additional accessories because we do not ask for additional payments from customers for stock units.

It would be best if you can provide me at least 3 details of the vehicle so that we can check when it was released from our plant (Conduction Sticker, Engine #, Chassis #).

jru120, sobrang haba kasi ng expressway dirediretso lang and no other cars in sight, 160 dapat yan kaso nung hawak ko na yung phone cam sa kabilang kamay medyo bumagal takbo. sa kalye ako nakatingin aim and shoot nalang.

andrewbugs, kaninang umaga lang napundi yung 4 oem glowplugs ko, it lasted only 30k kms saakin, mga 3 yrs siguro. kakapost ko palang na ok tapos napundi han ako agad, kinabit ko ngayon non oem hkt kitihara brand 380 each, tignan ko kung mas tatagal to, parang sirain nga oem plugs ng 4m40. ito ang first part na bumigay sa pajero ko nung bago pa siya.

jru120, hindi yata pareho plugs ng dalawa, mas mahaba yung sa 4m40. your manual pajero can go faster than our AT units, kaya pa siguro mag 180 niyan,

sir PB, sad to hear that your glow plugs got busted. Sabay-sabay ba? ang apat? I tried before a non-oem (i forgot the brand, but it cost me Php 250/pc), it last for less than a month only . By the way, I browsed the internet 2 weeks ago, re HKT glow plugs, it came to their attention that some of their glow plugs may not last long for 4d56 and 4m40 engines if fitted with glow plug of different specification. HKT mentioned that for 4M40 the part number is CP-05. Is this the part number that you bought? If it will last long (say 1 year), then we have a cheaper alternative

andrewbugs, yes, tinester ko na, 4 oem plugs patay na, actually kahapon lang siya talaga di na nagstart ng 1 try, kaya siguro dati it takes mga 2 secs crank bago tumuloy. baka buhay pa isang plug, pero kahit na pala patay na 4 glowplugs nagstart parin siya, sa 4th try ko umandar siya, medyo natuwa din ako kasi it means ok pa compression ng 4m40 ko kasi kahit walang glow plugs umandar parin sa umaga, itong non oem ko more than 2 years ko na ginamit dati, buo pa yung apat, nagkaproblem kasi ako sa hardstarting dati without checking kung glow plugs ang sira, yun pala calibration na kailangan, kaya bumili na ako ng oem plugs, akala ko dahil non oem kaya nasira agad kaya oem na kinuha ko, maiikili talaga buhay ng oem plugs in my experience, DIY ko nalang kabit glowplugs para tipid labor, I'm now convinced to just use non oem glowplugs, hindi ako sure sa part no, but yung oem kulay tanso, itong non oem htk kulay chrome ang katawan. japan made naman

What's the expected impact in terms of the FM resale value?

gerbo, imho, sa pinas iba parin ang image ng pajero, kaya resale value is not a problem, 1.399 ko nakuha pajero ko 9 years ago, and i was offered 800k by a friend, not bad narin,most owners here got their pajero used kaya mas mababa pa malulugi nila. very rare ang bumibili ng bnew, but I have to admit very temtpting na bumili ng montero sport. pagnakita kong mausok na tong pajero ko tsaka ko siguro bibitawan,

Pajero experts, I need your help po.

I have a problem with my Pajero FM. Hindi na masyadong malakas ang hatak nya or low powered na sya at parang matakaw nadin. Sabi din ng driver namin delayed ang shifting nya... Eto ang mga problems na naencounter namin.
Additional information para makatulong sa problem;
1.) Hindi naman sya hardstarting sa umaga. Parang brand new naman kung istart mo.
2.) 57K pa lang naman ang mileage, 2002 ang model year, 2.8cc
3.) Automatic po transmission neto.
4.) Hindi naman po mausok. Sa umaga lng pagstart ng engine sya mausok (sabi nila normal lng daw to)

Sabi ng iba kailangan nadaw iOverhaul ung Injection Pump (calibration). If calibration na, masyadong bata pa ung pajero ko sa stage nato. correct me if Im wrong. Others say injectors lang daw. What should we do? Ano po mga advise nyo sa problem nato?

chilledoxygen, opinion ko lang bro, talagang mabagal pajero natin humatak, compared sa mga bagong diesels. bago ka pumunta sa major repairs, basics muna siguro, like replace with oem air (very important replace),fuel and oil fiilter, oil change narin, pati atf oil and diff oil change narin. compute mo accurate fuel consumption mo then compare mo with ours, not estimated but yung full tank then distance traveled over liters. para accurate. wag mo muna pacalibrate. btw 70k ako nagpacalibrate.

pb, may nakita ako kahapon naka-park brand new pajero sa parking lot dito sa mall sa bohol. tapos sa loob ng mall may nakadisplay na new montero sport. baka magsisi yun pagmakita yung montero or baka din hindi

ang ayaw ko lang sa new montero is parang mababa lang yung atip nya. parang mahihirapan ang mga matatangkad na tao pagsumakay sila.

may nakita ako na led tail lights for pajero iba lang yun design. similar yun color scheme sa stock pero led na lahat saka crystal yun lense. silver yun trims nya. meron naman isa red and clear lang tapos black yun trims. im not sure sa price, pero nakita ko sa cmiss sa may plaridel bulacan

PB, thanks a lot. Yea. Ganun din na notice ko sa mga pajero. I'll try replacing na my air filter. kc dati nilinis ko lng.. na change oil filter and atf oil ko nadin un. fuel filter nlng and diff oil ang wla pa. I tried computing my FC. pero estimated lng sya.. ung FC ko is 4-5km/L parati.. dun lng un range nya. Is it normal? ung pajero ko is AT, ung mga manual paj mas mataas diba(more fuel efficient)?

What are your FC's on automatic and manual transmission?

PB, what do you recommend po na air filter based on your experience? what is the name/brand and its price?
