December 5th, 2006 05:58 PM #1331from experience ok din yung VIC na orig wag yung VIC na classA.but original is better kasi matagalan naman palitan yang Fuel Filter so di masyadong magastos,I mean kung once every 3 change oil is fine to buy original, dyan din kasi nakadepende yung performance ng hatak, kung barado yan mahina na humatak makina at mausok pa.

4d56 maintenance schedule [baka similar din sa 4m40?] - http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31294
Fuel filter is replaced every 30,000kms. But since I'm using replacement. I change at least every other oil change. Instillation depends on mechanic. The most I was charged was Php150.00 additional.

How true is this....May parents just came back from tokyo 3 days ago. Habang namamasyal daw sila with some friends (na pinoy pero japan based) and some japanese. Sabi daw ng Japanese friend nila na wala daw bumibili ng pajero sa japan because of some accidents years before.
Heheh anyway just wanna share my dad's story...And by the way Im not a toyota fanboy ha. Proud Pajero, crosswind and exsior owner ako. Mahirap na eh

Mitsubishi had issues in Japan. The brand itself not the Pajero in particular.
Kasi halos puro used ang pumapasok sa ating units from Japan. So ibig sabihin, may bumili at gumamit na ng unit bago dinala dito. The reason kung bakit nila dinidispose yung mga sasakyan is mahal magmaintain ng lumang sasakyan sa Japan. And mahirap pumasa sa inspection so it makes more sense to 'de-register' a car and just get a new one. De-registered cars are sold here (as well as in the UK, Australia, etc.) as surplus.
The Mitsubishi EK is a pretty big hit.
But for bread and butter cars, mga Japanese brands pa din.
