i also looked on my a/c to see if there's a microfilter in it. as i was expecting, there was none. since there's a provision, i assume i can just buy a microfilter from fronte and pop it in ?

altec: finally got a retest saturday last week. opacimeter average reading was 0.86. ok pa rin considering the altitude. at least it registered a decrease of more than 0.60.

mikey_177: i think i have an idea who is that insurance claims personnel is.

benchph1: i think the microfilter that fronte sells will slot in. if it is not the same, just return it na lang.

Naparegister ko na yung carnival ko and yung emission ko ay 0.86. Galing talaga ng Biodiesel.

I also bought a K&N filter sa Fusion-R at dati parin yung presyo 4,400.00. Ayaw ko pang ikabit dahil medyo bago pa yung air filter ko. I have a change oil before the registration of my car.

Question - I remember somebody had change their shocks to a bilstein or oldman. I checked the web for bilstein and walang shocks for the carnival/sedona. I want to change the shocks for improved handling. Does anyboby here upgraded their shocks?

Also sino na ang nakapagpakabit ng strut bar for the carnival/sedona?

i just replace the air filter everytime i have an oil change and stick the k&n decal in the airbox. hehehe! (send k&n an email, they will give you a die-cut sticker along with their thank you letter!) the last time i had my air filter changed during my pms at wheels it was P375 yata. there was one time i had an oil change but didn't replace the filter right away. there was a noticeable difference in torquel when i replaced it the day after. subok niyo lang.

re the shocks: it is somewhere in the early posts of this thread. the poster upgraded yata to ranchos. i plan to do a shock upgrade in the future. may shocks kaya ang kayaba gas-a-just for our minivans?

i have a strut bar in my carnival. my gray market dealer got it from korea. i asked him to bring over more stuff like for the tsikot guys in this thread but i wasn't able to follow it up from him since last year. if you know someone who can fabricate strut bars, you can use the photos of my engine bay for reference.

the strut bar was installed two weeks after i got the carnival. i never really got to drive it longer to know what the difference is without the strut bar. afaik, i got to negotiate the curves of marcos highway better. kumbaga ba, the whole vehicle felt stiffer, closer to the way my former chassis-equipped rides handled the bends. yes, it is just bolted on to the screws of the strut towers. it took less than 5 minutes to install it.

the clean engine bay is courtesy of wheels. medyo dirty na rin cya nun kasi umulan sa expressway when i was on my way back to bulacan last summer. di ba may complementary carwash and engine wash sa wheels for every service that you avail of? kahit P350 lang ang worth ng service kasama pa rin yun.

Calling all fabricators. Please make a strut bar for the carnival/sedonas.

Ranchos pala yung ginamit sa carnival. Sa web may nakita akong springs from H&R. Sa bilstein wala pa pang carnival sedona.

I know someone from HCP who can fabricate customized strut bars.

We previously had rancho rs5000's on our carnival. eventually it gave way so now its riding on kyb excel-g's.

ang ingay ng carnival namin pag nag-istart sa umaga. i think its one of the idler bearings.

benchph1: the sedona here is the carnival II in the korean domestic market. korean import kasi yung unit ko kaya carnival ako ng carnival dito sa thread. ang local lang dun sa engine bay ko eh yung negative relay na nakakabit sa battery clamp -- ang aking pangalawang mod.

ok ba ang performance ng kyb excel-g shocks mo? how much did the whole set cost?

ang hirap maghanap ng pang-aftermarket na hindi baduy sa mga minivan natin. si lensio kasi... naglaho! lensio, magparamdam ka naman!

145*3800 rpm ang rated bhp niya. yung torque ang mataas, 310*2000 rpm. in comparison, the gasoline-fed previa's bhp is 157*5700rpm and torque is 225*4000 rpm. sa diesel na ako kung ganun.

di na pala ginagawa ang 2.9 na tdic sa korea. sa dati kasing spec sheet may sariling column ang j3 tdic. eto yung spec sheet sa website nila:
