The sedona is foot brake, not hand brake. Sometimes, you have to ask the shop to adjust the foot brake, minsan, the car still rolls forward, so kulang ang foot brake setting.
I can't say much about the sedona AT, as I drove diesoline's ride only once and his was the CRDI AT version, while mine is the 2.9TDIC MT. The steeper the incline, the car at drive mode will still move backwards when you release the brake pedal. If your feet are not fast enough, your option is before moving the stick from park to drive mode, step on the foot brake to engage it. Then while stepping on the brake pedal, move the stick to drive mode. When you move your right foot from brake to gas pedal, use your left hand and time the release of the hand brake to release the foot brake.
Regarding inclines, just be careful. Even though our engines are powerful: 130hp or thereabouts, our ride is heaaavvvyy. Therefore, on a standstill on an uphill incline, baka kakapusin ng power. The remedy here is to step on the clutch a little to bring up the revs, then release the clutch so that the starting revs will be high to engage the turbo.
