Next time bibili naman ako ng front shocks/struts, fan belts, at baka shifter cable kung may budget pa.

i finally found the source of that rattling sound on my engine bay! it was caused by a loose bracket securing the p/s tubes. while looking for the source of that strange sound, the mechanic found some leak on the p/s pressure hose and was replaced too. now, ang lambot na ng steering wheel niya. take the car on a trip to lucena with seven passengers and it did 10 km/liter matipid pa rin and i really enjoyed the ride. thanx to all you guys on this thread!

mga sirs, ask ko lang, malayo ba difference sa performance nung crdi ng gen 2 sedona/carnival II na from gray importer sa local 2.9 non-crdi na sedona natin dito?

which is better ung matic o manual?

paereho kasing ok ang non-crdi at ung crdi na carnival II/sedona...pati ung tranny configuration hirap pumili,e....

nga pala, kung fully loaded, di ba masyadong bumababa ung likod?

Hindi naman sumasayad yung rear fender ng Sedona sa gulong nya kung fully loaded. Last November, I used my unit to haul floor tiles from Tarlac to Pangasinan (nag-renovate kasi kami ng bahay). The van was loaded with granite tiles from the 3rd row to the luggage area but it still handled well, although I drove slower because of the heavier weight and longer stopping distance in case of an emergency stop.

lamang nga sa amenities ung imported, pero dont know how the crdi stood up to our local diesel? wala halos ko kasi makitang gray import user...ayaw ko magtanong sa dealer,e...

I think diesoline has a grey market crdi unit, and he goes up and down Baguio with it every week, so you might want to ask some feedback from him. Tsaka maganda yung cabin ng unit nya kumpara sa local version na mayron ako, very nice.

the crdi j3 engine has over 15 hp more than the direct injection j3. both are 2.9 liter engines. From diesoline's experience, doesn't smoke belch as bad as the tdic version.

I had my 03 local sedona smoke tested and it came out 1.22! Far cry from my 1st two years reading. This was after less than a month from the warranty calibration of my injection pump. Will return it to the casa for adjustment. The last two loads before calibration and including post calibration, have not used my standard 2% BD inclusion. Could it be the lack of BD or the need for A/F adjustment?

Sorry to hear about your high emission test reading, altec.

I also had my unit tested a week ago and I got a reading of 0.62. Mine is a 2002 TDIC J3 (non-crdi version), and I've never had my injection pumps calibrated. Also, since I haven't found a conveniently-located supplier of biodiesel here in Urdaneta, I haven't used the stuff since we moved here two years ago. Baka sira lang yung makina nung emission test center :question:

I was really expecting the reading to be higher, but I wanted to see just what score my engine would get given that the only TLC I give the Sedona is the regular change oil/air filter every 5,000 km.

kamusta kapatid. kasla kayat ko nga ilako tay camry min ta gumatangak ti baro nga sedona kabsat. apay adda crdi to local dealers? diay subic ngata adda pay ngata ?. magkano na ba ang bagong sedona ngayon ? local issue o yung subic na crdi ng masimulan ko ng ligawan yung manager ng banko na magpapaloan sa akin hehehe. pasensya kan kabasat ta ditoy ta metten nga agistorya.
