    Hi there,

    Do you mind posting the contact numbers of Kharmelon store? Just need to replace my front brake pads in few months time. Incidentally, does anybody try to use Bendix brake pads in their Kia Car? Thanks in advance.

    OO nga, ang lakas talaga managa sa presyo ng casa. Anyway, we went to Wheels E Rod to bring home our new Starex, so I took the opportunity to have the power steering leak of the Sedona fixed too.

    Personally, I still prefer my 2002 Sedona to the 2006 Starex in terms of build quality, ergonomics and creature comforts. Hindi lang talaga namin mahintay ang paglabas ng 2006 Sedona (if it ever comes out this year) kaya sinubukan namin ang Starex dahil maganda din naman ang feedback sa kanya. Ang sabi pa sa akin ng sales rep ng Kia ay gas version ang una nilang ilalabas na '06 Sedona kaya mas lalo akong na-turn off.

    hinlog:::

    Try 414-3989 for Karmelcon. I don't know if they've changed numbers though.

    hello to all,
    went to kia las piņas today for the pms, everything went well except when the mechanic told me that i should replace my damaged axle boots (outer). when i inquired about the price: casa quoted me that it costs 1,600 each and labor is 896 per side. mabuti na lang at medyo late na ako and need to use the car tommorow kaya hindi ko muna pinagawa. after we left the casa, i called good gear in pasay city and inquired for replacement parts. the sales rep quoted me only 130 pesos per piece..... grabe talaga ang mark up sa casa. mabuti na lang at medyo gipit na ako sa oras at medyo naligtas ako sa sobrang gastos hehehe

    in addition, rainy season is at hand. kia mechanics advised us na dont ever try to drive your car in deep floods. several units were brought in for engine overhaul because nabingkong daw ang mga pistons(???) due to the flood. puede ba mangyari yun? ask ko lang mga pre.tia!

    Yup, that's a universal truth. Is the axle boot different from the CV joint boot? I'm due to have my left CV joint boot replaced, and I got it for around P300 at Kia Dagupan since it's very hard to find any Sedona parts in our neck of the woods.

    Regarding the tip about floods: with all the electronics in these modern vehicles, I wouldn't dare risk bringing one through deep floodwaters. At most, I would forge through water as long as it is below the center of the hub. I don't want to risk having rusted/broken wheel bearings again.

    hello mikey,
    thanx sa quick reply bro. magkaiba siguro yung axle at cv boot, sa price na lang eh ang layo na ng price difference considering that they are both casa prices. wala kasi akong kaalam alam sa mga parts eh.

    hinde po mabingkong ung piston babaluktot ung conecting rod parang ung nang yari sa besta namin dati pinasok ng tubig yung intake! sa sedona naman namin na drive ko na sya sa matinding baha na hanggang 3/4 nung 18" na mags ko eh nka 50series tires pa ako as in malalim talaga lubog na ung foglights ko at basa na ung clutch ung parang kumakadyot na ung oto pero nung natuyo naman ok na ulit ang naging problema ko lang may tubig parin sa loob ng foglights ko!

    Hi Mikey,

    I inquired in Karmelcon recently, original front brake pads cost 2400, replacement is 900.

    Hi Peeps,

    Just want to know, if others tried and will recommend to use Bendix brake pads in their Kia Car? How much does it cost as well? Thanks in advance.
